I'm pretty sure this is the World's Largest 2x2x2 Rubik's Cube. The only other big one I found was from Tony Fisher here: bit.ly/TonysGiant2x2

    NK Cubed, one showing the puzzle, one showing the mechanism, one showing a solve, one showing the build, and one comparing it to the other large 2x2s he has made. And maybe a bonus showing it next to the worlds largest 3x3, and the worlds largest fidget spinner that he has also made.

    Excellent work! :D I find it really interesting that the first 2x2s (from Rubik's brand anyway) were a new design for the core and connections... then fast forward a bunch of years, and the standard 2x2 design is "just use a 3x3 mechanism and hide the edges. It's such a simple solution in hindsight!

    I can't wait for 3D printing to become cheap, quick, and affordable for the every-day consumer. It's still an expensive, niche, luxury item that people are saying that "Everyone is going to have and be doing soon". I can't wait for that day. We seem to still be in the very beginning of this, where home 3D printing is pretty much just an expensive hobby at this point.

    With that mechanism you can make a gian corner 3x3, that you can solve like a 2x2 and like a 3x3, that would be super cool

    here is a cool idea, make a hollow 2 by 2, with a visable 3 by 3, making it where you have to solve both at the same time.
