As long as it's a modular cable it won't be that big of a deal. It's not ideal of course but as long as it's not an attached cable

Interesting…Will they offer a higher optimum response where frequency response is concerned, sensitivity / db… nominal impedance…ohms, driver size be large enough to handle deep bass similar to Sennheisers and Grado for example. Only single drivers..? A gimmick IEM to mimic those Pro earbuds. I’d be worried about that weight of the control panel hanging around that cable. Although late on the market, a good video anyways.

Good review Keith. Like you said , there are tons of other options out there for this. What makes this unique is that it comes together as a combo piece. For me, I bought the new Kiwi Ears Dolces for about $35 Canadian, and a lightning DAC dongle for $5! And the sound connected to my iPod playing lossless on Apple Music is as good as anything I need to thoroughly enjoy my tunes! It's all relative. I can't even use these on my iPad mini either. They do look really nice though🙂

I mean most people probably can't tell the difference between lossless and lossy If you do a blind test. Doesn't mean it doesn't have value It's just not the kind of value you would be able to notice in an A/b test. But with audio it's always a sum of your parts.

This is not worth it. Try getting a CVJ Lightning to mmcx or 0.75mm cable, and an appropriate iem. There's plenty of chi-fi iems that are either 0.75mm or mmcx port enabled. I personally use a CVJ lightning cable mmcx and BGVP DMG (they might be out of production, but you should be able to find newer alternatives). Theyr'e awesome.

Hi thank you for your reply. To clarify why we point out the Apple's MFi certification so many times: typically a non-certified dongle or adaptor provides up to 48kHz of standard lossless quality. We use additional Hi-Fi grade DAC & Amp (MFi certified) to support up to 192kHz/24-bit music as it is the highest format on Apple Music. Additionally, it's always easier to carry an integrated earphone than a dongle, isn't it? Hope I answered your questions with sufficient clarity :)

Well nm, the attachment is for qlock plus, my cable is a lite apparently lol. So now I’ve got a useless dac/amp attachment, unless I upgrade cables. You can use it on the DUW02s, not the DUW02 pro. Unng, why name it the same.

Sure, simgot em6l is great for $110, Harmon done right. What is your price range and what kind of sound are you looking for? There are also $20 ones that have a dsp usb c connection, but no removeable cables. I’d recommend getting some kind of usb c dongle for the normal iems. Just an apple usb c dongle to start with will be good enough, so nothing too crazy.

There is IEM’s that cost $1200 plus that more Bentley range.😂😂 These are overpriced for a single dynamic driver. You can get a good quad balance armature driver, or hybrid’s for same price if not cheaper and use a Apple Dongle which is good as a whole codec, so does call routing and remote control for $9 buck. It been proven that $100 dollar’s and under DAC dongle sound no different or put more power then the Apple dongle. As most are 30mv at 32 ohms. Apple dongle is cable of 1vrms at low sensitivity and max output and uses a good codec DAC that put no hiss even on high sensitive IEM’s and better then most $60 dollar audiophile DAC’s. So your wasting money and also drawing more battery power from phone going those DAC’s and most don’t do call routing or do a bad job. Only way to improve is to spend over $200 to get dual amps each channel and get 2vrms plus and some going 4vrms to drive higher impedance load and low sensitivity like over the ear full size cans as the Sennheiser HD600, which you won’t use outdoors as a open back. Most IEM’s 1vrms is more then enough and overkill.

@@questyle_official No but also depends on driver materials and size and tuning, a lot more that goes into making a good IEM. I heard some bad IEM’s that cost 100’s that were multi drivers that timing and balance was off and were not well balanced as well over the years. Having a multiple drivers tuned to specific frequencies and if you have them overlap between drivers and roll off off at extremes of their ranges and the amount of overlap and tuning is what makes, or breaks a multi driver IEM. When done correctly they typically do sound better, more natural and cleaner overall. Yes I heard some extremely good single driver IEM’s as the Sennheiser’s IE900 and so forth. But prefer my Sony ier-m9 for critical listening as more accurate. I found the treble peaking on the IE900 at about 6 to 7khz which sensitive to. The IE900 are still one of the top IEM’s I heard to date. The Sony and UE IEM’s are cleaner and more accurate. The Sennheiser’s are more fun is how I class them. Which is why people enjoy them. Sennheiser been around for a long time and have experience and very tight control over who makes their custom driver for them. So yes one of the best single dynamic driver IEM’s made. The crowdfunding company is likely using a typical off the self driver and don’t have much experience as of yet. Being they are pushing more in marketing for having the built in DAC in the cable which is a bad idea as being a engineer IEM cables are first to break and get pulled on and etc. They sure have had the DAC portion removable. It going to be costly to replace that cable as pretty sure where most their built of materials costs is at and then the fact they are pushing hi-Res and being the first company to get certified from Apple tell me all I need. It likely a company that figured a good way to market and likely get BOM down and sell at high profit margins. I doubt they going to be any good, but could be wrong as haven’t heard them yet?

Honestly overpriced for a single dynamic driver. They sure have done a hybrid dynamic and 4 balanced armature drivers. Then the DAC/amplifier being hardwired to cable also a con as when cable eventually goes bad you is going to be costly? More then anything not be a multi driver is a deal breaker as not going to be near as good as a quality IEM even cheaper one that only two drivers which are about $100 to $150. A quad driver plus IEM $200 plus going to put these to shame. Even some KZ that $50 will put these to shame. The Apple dongle is only $9 bucks and can do lossless fine and 1vrms and good. The audiophile dongle DAC that costs around $100 are about the same as the $9 Apple dongle and put about same output. Only the over $100 and typically over $200 and then you get more linear and 2vrms and up.
