RALLY 😂😂 off road it’s not cheap it’s design people may not like it’s on the outback which is more expensive then wrx too

I actually prefer the non-color matched on the cladding/fender flares. I had my Ceramic White VB next to another Ceramic white VB with the color matched fenders installed. That decided for me. I will not be buying the color-matched fender flares. That might change in the future, but love the OE look.

Looks so good! When the VB came out, so many people cried about those black flares, as if the aftermarket wouldn't be all over it. Good work, guys!

You're right that the after market world would resolve this. People "cried" because who wants to spend a good chunk of change on a brand new car and then immediately drop more money to make it look presentable. It isn't even a mod just making the car how it should be from factory. Just a very ugly and cheap design from Subaru. No one cries about having to buy a front lip because we do not expect a car to come with one. Most do expect color matched panels.

Is it just me or does it bother anyone else that the bottom on the paint matched front fender flares (the part that's connected to the bumper) isn't matte black? Looks terrible IMO.

Same! It should match the side skirt and the bottom part of rear bumper to have a nice flow. Have all black but except for that part on front bumper really breaks the flow and looks awkward

Yep.. they should have left that like how it comes on the OEM. I actually prefer the OEM style (non-paint matched) fenders. I don't plan on buying them for my VB. That may change in the future.. who knows.

@@Antykain At first wanted the paint matched fenders, but now after having the car for 9 months the matte black cladding has really grown on me. When I first saw the 22' VB, I couldn't stand the look (like most), but now I absolutely love the body style! Originally I was looking for a used 21' STI. Funny how things change. I truly prefer the VB chassis now. But to each their own right? 👍🏻

Agreed, ruins the body lines for me. Its all one piece though so I'm assuming thats why it always gets painted

It took time but the cladding grew on me…not talking about the plastic diaper in the back.
