World's biggest privately owned Ford Collection -The Den Hartog Ford Museum

Ойындар

Follow me trough a personal walk down the memory lane of the World's biggest privately owned Ford vehicles in between 1903 and 1949. Mr. Den Hartog was a Collector who Collected Fords from 1903 up until 1950. He used most of the vehicles for His Work, and He couldn't care about the new post war Fords made in & after 1950. He didn't liked them, and thus, He never baught them.
Unfortunately, the Museum is closing down forever due to Financial problems, so I Drove 350 Miles to see it onemore time before it closes for ever on December 1, 2016.
I took this on my Samsung Galaxy S5, I'm not a professional camera man, and did this on the fly

The most expensive car sold was a 1905 Ford Model B Side Entrance Tonneau, which was the object for the longest bidding exchange of the sale and settled for €419,750 ($488,000), more than seven times its estimate. The 1905 model was followed by the 1906 Ford Model K Open Tourer which sold for €345,000 ($401,000) and a 1903 Ford Model A Open Tourer that went for €143,750 ($167,000). I don't know how accurate it was, but that's from a site I seen on line. The auction totaled around 7 million dollars.

I'd take each and every one of those amazing cars. I absolutely LOVE antique cars, classic cars. What a pity it closed what a collection. I wonder where a lot of these cars went.

Yes, I am sorry about this, I had to do this on the fly with my phone, as the Museum was going to be closed in less than an Hour, as this was litteratly the last time it was open to the public 😓😞

to everyone criticizing his camera work, I've searched your pages and can't find where you did a better video of this museum. next time how about you do your own video instead of trashing this wonderful tour of a last day of a museum.

Was sadly too late. Was trying to buy an all Original 1934 Model A, but all of them were sold to a Collector in the USA 🇺🇸

The Ford Model T was avalable in gray, green, blue and red from 1909-1915. In 1926 and 1927, the last years the T was offered, it was available in 11 colors. There is no evidence I have seen that the color black dried any faster than other colors, but it was a good economy decision by Ford to use only one color for many years.

He keeps tripping on piles of money. Nobody should have that many cars or that much money. Douche.
