@@ravikumarsingh5116 India really have the same issue as china i suspect.. ancient cities with centuries and millenias of old infrastructure making is a very slow rate of imrpovement. but eventualy i suspect they will get there.. barring any catastrophe like a civil war or foreign invasion etc or natural disasters/plagues. India has the tech but needs time. hopefully they get it :)

@@StatsMedia Well "friends" would be exaggerated but usually they're in some kind of rational partnership, especially companies and individuals. Politics is inconsistent. Germany works with Russia in matters of energy, like gas, for example. And the US is not happy about that, google "Nord Stream 2". If it wasn't for the USA the relationship would be way more relaxed. But uninterrupted trade with Russia would endanger the US economy. The same with China: The US really wants to block relationships and is urging the EU to ban Huawei and buy from US companies for example. After all it's always just about money. But it doesn't mean that Germany trusts Russia. The country is reliable regarding some issues, but not trustworthy in others. So there's always a bit of scepticism about Russian politics. But less than the "Russia is the new old enemy" view the US has.

Per inhabitant we (the Danes) are still number one by a fairly large margin, the new government wants a 100% coverage of wind energy by 2030, too ambitious and costly but I don´t mind the effort. It is one of the statistics where I actually don´t want to be number one, I wish more countries would surpass us to prove that something is being done on a larger scale.

China always in every feild shows that we human can do anything. Actully they are pride for whole humanity, love n respect to all chines people, from Pakistan

China is now moving ahead, but General Electric, Vestas, Siemens still own a lot of patents. China has some emerging companies such as Ming Yang. The future will be better if these three major players can collaborate well.

TechnoPulses well, at least the recent data is pretty solid and u can go check it out just search it online... And we all know 30 years ago, China would not have the power or mind to build up this much wind turbines, so generally speaking, the data is at least meets the history very well.🙂🙂

@@StatsMedia I think the point Alan is making is that it would be more useful to see which country produced the most wind power energy in comparison to other forms of energy - or even in comparison to how much energy they use. It's not really a surprise that massive countries like the USA and China will have the highest quantity - but they also probably have the highest quantity for non-renewable forms of energy as well XD

Thank you. It is a completely useless measure. In 2016, for all of the wind power in China, only about 4 % of its total electricity consumption was produced by wind. By comparison, wind power was 38 % of consumption in Denmark in 2016 and 47% in 2019.

Is this a measure of potential unreliable Gigawatt hrs/yr or actual? By the way, I am so glad we have reliable baseload power supply in place. At least we're not freezing in the dark.

I would think it's actual. Wind cannot replace all electricity but it's damn fine to have it when it's blowing. And when not, you can fire up a natural gas plant or sth

It's good thing, good competition, we all should generate more green engery.
