Sadly, my wife and I got transferred back to Indiana from AZ. We found Eloy and fell in love with it immediately. Enough so that I worked in Phoenix but commuted up the I-10 every day from Sunshine Blvd in Eloy to West Buckeye road in Phoenix. We were made to feel welcomed from the start. We miss Eloy greatly and are trying to figure out how to get transferred back there as quickly as possible.

Hey Super🙋🏾 Eloy residents were so nice! I could get down with that☺️ I ALWAYS enjoy your music...great video!!!

Nico's is an OG Tucson spot that's creeping its way up to Phoenix. Way better than Filibertos in my opinion. Add ons to the burritos will always bump the price up like crazy. I'd recommend just getting a burrito meal that comes with rice and beans on the side.

Oh my word!!!! Dude, you stalking me??? The other day I saw your video of casa grande. Now Eloy????? I was born and raised! I can fill you in what it use to be!!! That prison WAS NOT there back in the 1970s and 80s. Eloy has not grown ! I’m 53 and I remember when Eloy was the big city, lol. There use to be a theatre, Jerry’s pharmacy, 5 and dime, western auto (still there) and there was another pharmacy that had a sodas and shakes bar in the back, where I remember us sitting down when we would come in town., having hamburgers and fries. Eloy is a town where if you are new in town, people notice you and will say hello as if they saw you daily. Growing up in Eloy, as I reached my teen years many of the stores began closing down. In may, they host a huge a Cinco De Mayo festival there at the park on Main Street. I grew up where I am told that CCA prison is near. This was all farm land. Picacho is smaller than Eloy, this area I know like the back of my hand. It’s been many years since I have been there. Seriously, live in casa grande, but I grew up in Eloy, work in Coolidge. I’ve seen you video all 3 locations recently. I always have a sad heart when I think about Eloy and what it became. That park for the elderly, is really new to the area. Not real new, but new for my memories. That area had not been developed yet when I was growing up.

Hot dogs Alvarado is definitely the best food in Eloy. You have to try them when you come back around.

Neat fact, Eloy is the town's name because it was an acronym for East Line Of Yuma on the railroad maps.

I am an Arizona native and somehow I stumbled upon your channel. I have to say I truly enjoy all what you present here! Keep it going and moving forward; loving it ALL!!

All these small towns have in common is PRIVACY. And independence. I like small towns because there's room to breath. And less intrusion.

Yeah yeah my boy nico's is where it's at out there. Definitely my favorite mexican spot.

I appreciate all the love you showed Eloy. I was born and raised there and will represent it till the day I die. Home of the Santa Cruz Dust Devils where a lot of talented and good-hearted people come from. It's like a community because everybody pretty much knows everybody. I like how you put the video together showing the beauty along with the history. Wish someone would have done this years ago when it was really live and cracking.... Again thanks for the exposure to a what a gem Eloy is.

My family has been leaving there for years they used to pick cotton and fruit in those fields in your video might be a small town but it has history my abuela would have loved this video she loved her community ❤

Another Place in Phoenix that have some Bomb Ass Burrito's is the Chevron Gas Station on 3rd st an indian school rd . the Mexican Senorita's make it on the Spot an it will make Ur Mouth Water especially the Steak Burrito an Cheese with the Red Sauce . Arizona has some Good Food of All Races .

Eloy is prolly 80% Mexican, 10% Black, 10% white. My ex's family is from there. Good down to earth people there. No pretension.

Lmao! Yes, the summers are flipping brutal in this area of Arizona. Not that long ago, I recall it being 120 something. I know it was hot, it was one of our hottest summers. Best months to visit This part of Arizona is from about November until April. April it starts to warm up. I think Jan is our coldest month, our days have highs of mid 60s low 70s in December and January. If you are visiting areas like flagstaff in the summer, it’s beautiful weather! Arizona is a bit of everything if you like it. Want to play only in the snow, than you just go to flagstaff or Prescott. Wanna cool off in the hot hot summer? You go to flagstaff or Prescott. Arizona is beautiful

@@stackzskrilla1025 best way I can describe our summer heat: on thanksgiving, the turkey has been cooking all day!!!! You open the oven to bring out the turkey, that hot oven air hits you in your face and scorches your face.? That is what it’s like from about 9 am until 11 pm here in the sourthern end of Arizona. It’s dry heat, you don’t think you are getting dehydrated until you feel it and then it’s a heat stroke. It will drain you. What is worse, dry summer heat like Arizona, or humid summers back East? Everyone tells me humility is worse. I have never experienced humidity as they describe. I’ve been back in East areas during spring and summer months, just never when it had high humidity

@@Mary_E. I experienced the Summer heat first hand , last summer. How ironic that when I was down there trying to make it happen, it was the hottest summer on record for the state of Arizona. 😤😤😤 Compared to Oregon, the scenery in Arizona is 🗑🚮. However, I did enjoy the nice weather in April, May to mid June. I always heard it’s a “dry heat” but at the end of the day, 115 is 115 no matter how you slice the cake. Weird seeing nobody outside during the day, no biking, hikes, walks, swimmers (unless we swam in our backyard pool) no life, just real basic and boring. Maybe after we as a nation get COVID eradicated, Arizona might be a lot different. But one thing remains, even in a beautiful city like Ahwatukee, it’s HOT ASF during the summers and that alone can defeat your whole positive vibes when you move to Arizona. Not to mention, bugs, scorpions, crazy ass drivers (which I don’t mind) , bad water and superficial friends.

Bomb, yes. But the furthest thing from an authentic Mexican dish. Places like this are judged off their huevos rancheros, and chile relleno

Yes we have jobs and some people work out of town and we dont get paid much so it's hard sometimes and yes we are, we are a loving community and a big family.

Fairly cheap living. Eloy is very small. Majority of people work either in Tucson or around Phoenix area.

I love just love the Peyton Chorizo sold in Eloy AZ so every time we go to Eloy or drive by Eloy we'd stop and buy a few cases of that Chorizo bc our California family cousins, brothers, sisters our entire family can not find any Peyton Chorizo anywhere in the central valley here in California..

I go to the high school across from Nico’s , in fact I’m a senior this year, and I go there when I got the money for something lol, but Nico’s is really good and I love Eloy have lived there for a good amount of my life, and the football games and softball games are the main reason why the school is so important

If you go to tucson . Go to BK on 12th and irvington it's the south side of tucson and for sure downtown area & if you go south there is sahuarita Az next to madera canyon mountain and the almond fields

You should come up north some to Anthem just over 22k population.

I remember when I was living in Tucson around 2003 the paper said in fifteen years Tucson and Phoenix would meet...what a nightmare. Now Im living in the shitty town of CG and stuck here. They are planning on building a racetrack with no noise restrictions (because money is more important than any people that live here, remember that) with an airport, concert venue and condos. With water being an issue in twenty years I cant believe the politicians and planners are that damn stupid.) They havent started yet although they claimed they broke ground a few month ago. Im hoping it turns into another PhoenixMart. Nobody from CG saw that coming even though everyone was laughing at them. No one in the valley wanted that crap along with the fake disneyland they were going to build. I feel sorry for anyone who thinks Eloy is like Mayberry. If you dont lock your door expect a visitor in the middle of the night.
