Taipei dome doesn't have any tennants for sure, but many teams have applied to stage home games there this season. So far total of 30 regular season games already scheduled to play there. The reason Taipei dome has chosen sealed roof over retractable roof is because there is no point. As baseball season in Taiwan is scorching hot, not pleasant at all. Many fans would prefer to watch the games with air condition on. That's why retractable roof is not useful at all apart from adding construction cost.

The real reason is Taiwan is prone to typhoon, retractable roof might not even last too long😂

Top ten oldest stadia could be a very interesting one to cover. Ten years ago in 2014, MLB played the season opener between LAD and ARI in Sydney, New South Wales. The venue used was the famous Sydney Cricket Ground which has Natonal Trust heritage protected grandstands that date to 1850's. The award winning MLB supervised conversion can be found on YT in time lapse vision. The SCG has been used for cricket all of that time and also for the two Rugby codes ongoingly. Currently also used by the Sydney Swans AFL club and also used as a venue in 1938 for the Empire / Commonwealth Games. Vin Scully (RIP) came out for the three sold out games series and commented on the resemblance of the grandstands to those at Churchill Downs.. Now the big question is...does the SCG become the oldest stadium used for MLB and if not then why not? Incidentaally, the precinct of the SCG called Moore Park, was also the scene of exhibition games played in 1890's with teams brought to Australia by A.J. Spalding.

@@baseballinternational174 technically not, the estadio IMSS It was demolished in '03, and the state's Best venue is La Corregidora (a soccer specific stadium) rumors said the best picture is make them a traveling team until is finished
