This is how you know Nash loves basketball. All legends about his work ethic are true. Still training and he's retired. I wouldn't be surprised if he randomly makes a comeback. Those trainers are half his age, and he still moves as fast, fluid and explosive as them.

steve nash one of the best pgs ever, still learning. amazing. :D edit: also goes to show how much the game has evolved since his prime years, every elite pg in later years will have these in their arsenal. Many already do!

This is literally the most amazing basketball related video I've seen ever. This material is priceless if you're into basketball and improving your game. I cannot believe this channel doesn't have like 10 million subscribers. This is such an underrated channel. I could watch and learn to implement everything this coach is demonstrating all day long. Seriously such a amazing breakdown and logic.

At first I thought Nash was super stiff (it makes the handles look ugly for me), and I ask myself, "Why is he not dropping his shoulders?". Then I realized, it was his core, that super-trained core. And I noticed that his upper body keeps in the same position all the time- that is extremely hard to do.

I'm a former NCAA player with a similar history of back issues stemming from herniated discs in the lumbar spine. I'm 39 years old and coaching high school basketball these days. I originally injured my back in 2005 and have re-injured it a couple of times but I can still move fairly well because I perform the exercises I learned in physical therapy to this day. It takes a lot of tedious effort but if you're willing to do the work anyone can overcome disc damage if they're willing to make it a priority in their life.

DJ Sackmann could probably play in the NBA but he made a conscientious choice to coach sill development instead. It's like popular singers having vocal coaches. The coaches are most likely good enough to have their own careers, but they make a choice to be a vocal coach and help other people develop their voices. Quite fascinating.

Stephen Sunday DJ could not have played on the NBA. He’s not athletic enough. He has spent countless hours studying the game, and implementing the things he’s learned into his own game and the game of others. That’s why he’s a great trainer.

your logic is just stupid. You don't have to be a good player to be a good coach, pop is widely considered to be a top 5 coach of all time and he didn't play in the NBA, Drew Hanlin who coaches many NBA players including all-stars played Div 2 basketball but studies the game and has worked tirelessly at it. That is why the NBA players work out with him, because he knows what he is doing. Once again you don't have to be a great player to be a good coach.

Crest Fallen same could be said about NBA coaches... if they’re so good, why did so few of them play in the NBA while they were young?
