@@pulisicgaming8248 I think the story of Below Zero is great, but I like the more mystic and puzzley story of Subnautica. I feel like the less hand holding approach was a more fun way to discover the secrets of the games lore.

In the first game your character doesn’t even talk which leads to less love for that character and emotional touch with game, if you can’t easily determine the emotions of your character along with funny lines and noises, the story can’t be better 💯

@@bertjohnson5260 um what? That's like saying silent movies have no emotion. What it actually does is it allows you to be able to personify yourself as that character. YOU'RE explore the world and experiencing everything for YOURSELF while learning about the background story regarding things.

@@SuperSan1c i agree too i love the fact how in the first game there was always this mystery of what the architects looked like and how they lived i also loved the fact in the first game no one knew what creatures to expect in this game they kinda achived the same feel but we all expected big monstorus looking creatures but this game and the main character having a voice definately brought a connection between gamer and the antagonist

And here we are, came full circle. From me seeing you react to subnautica wr, and your playthrough. To playing the game because I liked what I saw and ending up enjoying it. To pre-ordering bz and LOVING IT(one of my favorite games). And now to seeing your reaction to the bz speed run. Thank you Noah. When I saw you play all those games other than zombies and warzone I figured out that this is what I wanted. Now the last 5-6 months were some of the best despite the pandemic and it all comes down to you playing subnautica. Thank you.

If I am not mistaken (correct me if I’m wrong) but In the first Subnautica ending once in outer space I’m pretty sure the spaceship voice says something along the lines of detecting closest phase gate so I assume Robin knows about phase gates because it’s a commonly used space travel method not specifically created by the Aliens !

I loved playing subnautica below zero, the game was so atmospheric and scary at some points stumbling across the legendary monsters

The reason Robin knows what a phase gate is because the original mission from the Aurora in Subnautica 1 was for them to build a new phase gate out in deep space where 4546B is. That's why the ship was so big to begin with, Alterra wanted to inhabit new areas of space.

This was pretty cool. I just beat the first Subnautica yesterday and I'm excited to start this one tomorrow!

i watched JackSepticEye’s plat through on this when it first dropped the ending cut scene is so sick. glad it’s starting to get speedran!

I love how this guy beat the game in under an hour yet it took me over a days worth of gameplay to beat it.

I can see a 45 min speedrun in the future… this run had what seem like minutes that could be shaved off with just a bit more practice and mesmerizing

Actually there is already a speed boost in Below Zero. Its as the flying trick people would do in the first game. Drop an item like an air bladder. Use propulsion gun to pick it up. Then just maneuver the bladder behind you while holding it with the gun. The item will pull towards you, hitting your character model, shoving you forward. But then your gun moves forward with you and you just send it.

While this is very impressive, you should do a video on your reaction to the World Record of this game but glitched. It is even more insane to watch some of the glitches already found in it, I think you and your viewers would love it.

Surprised how unoptimized this was at the time. Just seeing their route they could have made it nearly twice as fast by purposely killing themselves a few times and using the air bladder more. Like there's no reason to come back from the glacial walk when you could have just died and respawned at the building they made there. Or went back to the home near the spiral plant after building Alan.
