I've been watching Shift for a couple years now and seen most of the speedrun world records. But I never truly realized just how complicated this game ACTUALLY is. My mans is truly dedicated to this game and knows the ins and outs of it unlike anyone else. He's truly amazing.

Good lord….. all of the steps that are needed to do in SpongeBob’s dream are insane, in regards to how TIGHT everything needs to be pulled off 😭

Man, idk how many times I've seen you do the triple jump to quick slick segment, but I never realized how much went into it! The spin onto the spikes, and manipulating the slick's AI. Damn bro, go off lol

The whole time watching these videos I was wondering why you needed the shiny objects for the krabs spatula with enough spatulas for robo sandy and with sba later, then it just all came together with that bonus spatula. Amazing setup and payoff well done

id like to finish the series at some point but the run keeps changing. really thought it would be stable for a while at the time when i made these but i was very wrong haha

I occasionally watch some of these runs, but I never knew about the duplicate "Impostor Krabs" spatula! I thought he was just simply getting the legit 3k shiny's spatula at the same time as the infestation spatula

I'm always shocked anyone can do these kinds of tricks in any speedrun, but yeesh, the dream level looks brutal. And we haven't even gotten the bubble bomb.

If I could teleport back in time, this is the video I would show them to explain the modern world

Yup you can, but there's no point in making a whole new category for extra spatulas. Everyone would just run 100% anyway.

You actually can get all 8 of Mr. Krabs' spatulas twice with that glitch. It just requires you to get the right amount of shinies for each one, one at a time. It's super tedious and (obviously) takes longer and longer as you get more, so it's rarely done in runs. I can't remember the category but there is one that actually gets 2 of them in the run.

My mom walked in while I was watching this and I quickly switched back to porn cause it was much easier to explain

i appreciate that youre excited for them, but those videos are a whole different beast in terms of preparation and coordination to manifest compared to videos like this one. someday ill have time to work on the history videos again, but now is not that time. thanks for being patient, itll be worth the wait

xemu isnt quite acceptable for speedruns yet. too unstable/inaccurate. but you can emulate the gamecube version with dolphin for now

The speedrun is developing a lot so I'd prefer to wait for some stability before making more, just so they age better and are more relevant when they drop
