GM Benjamin Bok is one of the best puzzle solvers in the world. He holds the record of the highest video-recorded puzzle rush survival score (206) and the record of the longest puzzle rush survival streak (195). In this video, he explains how to go about solving chess puzzles.
As explained in this video, solving puzzles is extremely important for chess improvement, because spotting tactics can make the difference between a win and a loss in a actual game.

    mine is 58 with 0 wrong since every time i get a puzzle wrong i restart since the best player would also restart

    21:39 what if when you take the rook, the queen takes your rook with check? Your rook goes back to block, then he checkmates with his rook or queen.

    Kind of low level calculation here. I was hoping to see some advanced calculation methods. The kind that a "world record holder" would use.

    Tactics are total bullshit: either it's showing off in a winning position or desperation in a losing position. Like a knockout punch in boxing what sets it up? Also knwoing it's a puzzle makes it easy to know there's a win in there. The best puzzle book is ECM (I do 25 problems a day when I wake up every morning to get my vision going).

    Chess is solved it's dying faster than I am in five years every game will be drawn. Maybe sooner. Today's top players make too much money to confront that reality but chess is a child's game now.
