Great show! Neil is the real deal…fishiest guy I’ve ever met. Can’t wait to get back up to Nipigon again in July.

You should see his program in full. Brookies, pike, lake trout, rainbows, chinook. he's not your ordinary guide. You fish until you're tired. His experience is what makes him great. From the great lakes and northern lakes in Ontario, to the west coast guiding steelhead! Great times and great stories to be had.

My dad and his buddies went to Lake Nipigon every spring and every fall back in the sixties. Their guide was Bill McCullom. They caught 8& 9lb. Brookies with regularity.

What an awesome show guys. Having experienced the river aswell as the lakes brook trout fishery, there is absolutely no exaggeration here when it comes to the quality and sometimes quantity of the fish you can catch. I absolutely agree without a doubt that the fish management allows for so many trophy fish to be caught. I too can relate to the effects of loosing an absolute giant brookie. I feel your pain. The words that would have been said if the cameras weren't rolling. Although I'm sure there was some editing done. 😂😂

Believe it or not but Joe did not swear one bit....he just went silent for some time. Personally, I would have been cussing like an old sailor if I had lost that fish of a lifetime!

hey im not trying to like beat down any record but like, the record trout in this river, some saltwater people use as bait. like i use 3 pound flat fish to catch 20lb-50lb lingcod. just let that sink in

Great guide hate the nobarb hook, cost you some grate views of trophies, i understand why no barbs, it is a decision, when you have no bounds on equipment, time, expense i guess you dont care about loosing great fish. but on a vacation that ends in a week or so, money is at a premium, so with equipment, you like at lleast look at the biggies, then turn loose unharmed. but other than the hook it was a great show, and a teriffic guide.

NEVER use tailing gloves!! It has been proven to remove the protective slime on the fish.

Dont believe the bs you see in a lab. Your statement is mostly false. Wet tailing glove or wet hands is fine
