We Bangladeshi people thank US new visa policy under which USA will not accept any visa who will impede a free, fair and credible election in Bangladesh. It’s a great geesture that USA always support democratic process in a very constructive way. This types of move is appreciateble and we want our voting right. I have been voter for 10 years but couldn’t vote for my choice of candidates.Specially We young people of Bangladesh who have a new voter, couldn’t exercises our voting right since 2014 and 2019 elections were not free fair and credible.

There is no press freedom in Bangladesh under Sheikh Hasina's illegal government. Today, 30th May 2023, forty-two years ago, President Ziaur Rahman was assassinated on this day. Since 1972, Life had become incredibly difficult with galloping price-hike with a fixed salary, augmented with an unprecedented social insecurity. Leaving the country desperately in late 1974, I have never seen Zia face to face. But with my politician father, Capt. Shamsul Huq, 1954 MPA and the chairman of Rajshahi Municipality, I had the privilege to see closely leaders like Maulana Bhashani, Hussain Shahid Suhrawardi, A. K. Fazlul Huq, and, last but not least, very closely for years, Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Over the years, from overseas, hearing Ziaur Rahman's untiring hard work for the country, walking miles with the public to see on the ground, and all his efforts to enhance food production and create new garment industries, you name it, I grew a deep regard for this dedicated leader. It is a stroke of hard luck for Bangladesh to lose such a genuine leader. Ever since the British had left, my country had not been blessed with another leader as eloquent as Late Zia. Senior leaders Bhashani, Fazlul Huq, and Suhrawardi were also dedicated, but Zia surpassed all of them. The nation had no other leader worth mentioning. On this day of the worst national tragedy, we pray to the Almighty for the emancipation of Shaheed Zia's soul and rest in heaven.

We Bangladeshis appeal to the United States of America, European Union, Australia and their allies, relatives, friends and beneficiaries of those who are permanently and temporarily residing in their countries, corrupt, involved in disappearances and murders, money launderers and human rights violators of Bangladesh, destroyers of the democratic process. I request to cancel the right of residence and send him back to Bangladesh 🙏

Today Dhaka-17 election, a participant “Hero Alam” is brutally beaten by Awamilegue. If Usa don’t put any visa restrictions against those who are responsible for this attack and on police and election commission. Then What is the purpose of this visa restriction?

The pro-China-Russian authoritarian Hachina government in Bangladesh is giving wrong interpretations to the Bangladeshi media about the new visa policy. In addition, on May 3, the Biden administration made anti-American statements in parliament and the media, hiding information for 21 days even after informing his government. Then the British High Commissioner, including Peter Haas, is threatening their security by lifting the security protocol. Along with the visa policy, the Biden administration should impose personal sanctions on Hashina and her associates. Or they will suppress the common people of Bangladesh and destroy democracy and make Myanmar.
