I wish there was a quick and easy way of getting people to think in terms of position rather than thinking in terms of gun sights. On that note, if you do end up doing a video on aiming, save it until last.

That is 100% correct! I have always said that this game is not so much about shooting as it is about map control and the ability to sense battle dynamics and the local balance of firepower!

When you're teaching...it's the best thing to watch !!!

These video's are great for players like myself who are yes, still learning the game. Every bit helps. I play mostly T5 - T8 ships. I do have 1 T10 BB but hardly ever play it. I find I am better at lower tiers. Awesome idea Flambass for doing these types of video's.

Richelieu is an amazing BB. In the hands of a skilled captain she can be very very dangerous. I had a lot of fun with her while grinding for the Alsace.

How did you manage to tank a Georgia and an Alsace without taking any damage, right next to the cv too - presumably no ifhe on those secondaries, and he didn't change to HE, but amazing that you managed to get away with it!

32mm bow armour and they didn't aim for superstructure: only Yamato 460mm guns can overmatch 32mm and the angling provides full ricochet

Flambass the torpedo addict.

Concerning flanking maneuver: old tears of desert map in epicenter mode, which almost everyone hated. I loved it, because if I was able to convince 2-3 others (preferable BB's) to go on a flanking maneuver, we ruled the match. It worked every time, even in rare occasions an opponent DD tried to block us instead of competing for the center. Then, because of all the complaints of players not able to understand simple tactics, WeeGee changed the map. What a shame.

I love Flambass videos but I crinched a bit when he said he wanted to go behind islands on 1-line. I HATE BBs going 1-line on this map. But of course, guessing Flambass would be quite effective in that position in comparison to my teammates that goes there and dont engage 1 ship entire game.

Poor ships with 380/381mm guns at high tier will have a hard time with all cruisers getting 27mm armour... What you don't miss in a Roma will either overpen or bounce... v__v
