The real masterpiece of this game was how you went stealth and capped D, even when your team had more ships and points. Would probably been a game winning move if the match totally turned due to "win more" mentality. Happens so often in wows.

As to BB fights, would be nice to see Fuso, Nagato or NC, Iowa for a change. Want to see how you handle situations in those more average ships.

Iowa is fast use it.. Stealth build on the flanks.. Only Goargias and french bbs can be annoying to deal with haha cause they can be faster

RepaleoN Halo US BBs can be very stealthy and can be really good at pushing flanks. But of course if you show broadside you’ll get heavily punished.

After seeing you speak of your love of the Jean Bart I bought it a couple months back. It is now my one true love. My absolute favourite ship

I've started playing Richelieu recently and I'm already beginning to love that ship, but I've set a personal task to not play anything above T8 until I unlock Alsace. Anything afterwards will be fair game...

I get the most broadsides from enemy when I play JB than in other BB. Is like: OMG a JB must gib broadside. Dunno if it's because people underestimate her [''oh its just a reversing french baguette cant do harm''] or because people are really really dumb... JB is my favourite ship. French BBs are my favourites. Riche is awesome, Alsace is awesome, Repu I loved her since first match. Looking forward to get Gscogne and Dunky in near future. In JB I feel so free to do anything, to risk a lot, to be very agressive and collapse enemy flanks or to defend or to change positions fast, is just very agile and that makes me feel safe in her. And a commentary to whats happening in your clip: I always find myself in this situation like in the clip, problem is your name and presence made them follow and push that way, while in my case I always have them running away. xD

nice commentary flambass.. im wowsl player and right now the JB is the most OP ship and most popular ship in the game. Thanks to your video i've become a better player :D

The biggest thing i did in WOWS that helped me improve was knowing my mistakes and correcting them. 6 months ago I had 5000k games under my belt and a 51% WR/ 45k avg dmg, I changed my play style and worked on my flaws and now 2000k games later i'm pushing 57% WR and 68k avg dmg.

Hey Flambass, been watching many of your videos and trying to learn more. I only have about 300 hours in random battles, and I solely play Battleships. I was hoping you can do a tutorial on mid tier ships, perhaps how to play different lines etc.

JB is probably the ultimate Drake counter. Fought 2 with an Iowa yesterday and got over pens for days.

Flambass this is my play style with Dunkerque. I follow you with the same step and phylosophy

i should add that for those that want to improve in WOWS knowing when to push/hold or retreat is def the most important skill then Positioning on the map, which is more important that aiming ability.

Flambass, @ 10:27, you could have turned your turrets slightly to the right. this would have hidden the flat frontal armor of the turret and cause the AP shells to hit the sides at a sharp angle. your guns wouldnt have gotten knocked out

This. Always turn your turrets 30 degrees between shots when you're bow-tanking. I learned to do this in the Vladivostok, and I applied to all my BBs. The frontal armor will get thicker and smaller, and the sides will ricochet. The turrets will also cover a larger area of your superstructure.

JB has become my favorite ship to play for the exact reasons you mention. Bowtanking and being able to heavily punish mistakes (if dispersion behaves). I also have ships like Missouri, Belfast, Tirpitz, Scharnhorst, Assashio, Smolensk, etc. I just always love playing the JB over all of those. By the way, I've kind of lost my touch with the Missouri and seem to not be able to play her to her full potential. I could really use some pointers. Do you think you could make a vid for her or is she too rare these days?

Flambass plays Tier IX ship, gets same tier IX ships in the opponent team as well. I play Bismarck, faces Tier X ships I play Tier VII Sinop, faces Tier IX ships🤦‍♂️

I wish WG would let us manually use the secondaries. Just add a secondary reticle and let the guns fire with the main battery once they are in range or set a secondary target and let them auto fire.

some people just don't get the difference between camping and playing tactically smart. especially sad in this case, since Flambass explains the thought processes behind his decisions in this video. then again, some people just write invented bullshit complaints to fullfill some strange need to insult or otherwise denigrate others even if (as they should know if they are honest about it) the complaint is false.

@@clefsan if you bother watching more than one game of flambass you will find that no matter what ship he is, he is first on the island!waits for the team to win the game and after half the team has been killed he appears on a white horse!!!you can check it very easily! I got tired of such comedians who play mostly for statistics

Ah! *You're* that guy; the one yelling in chat after throwing his ship away too early up front. BB's bow tanking at islands while a battle develops are not campers. They're most often saving the games you would otherwise usually lose.

I hate to do this and I don't know if you are reading your comments. I know about your intentions and why you are doing theses series of School of WoWS but you need to improve. I'm not talking about your gameplay or your entertainment but you need to improve your teaching skills - significantly. I acknowledge that you are explaining somehow what you are doing and why you are doing it. Basically this video is no big difference to your other videos you just explain a little more. Pronounciation on little. You are talking about positioning a lot which is helpful. He's also taking multiple games to explain the topic. It's also not only instant play comment but giving background information on the decision he's making at that point. Hi whole series is a build up on topics and he is developing the topics further and further. The title of your video is misleading. This is much about positioning. At which point are you talking about pushing? There are a few moments with that island positioning on E9 and G9 where you explained why you are stopping. Again, the initial thoughts and vision of this video is great and I highly appreciate that you are sharing your knowledge of the game with your community. This is a great choice and I'd like you to continue on that. As you want us players to improve our gameplay, I'd like to improve your explanation skills and get better. This series has only little concept and doesn't build up. I recommend to think about a general plan of what you want to explain and organize it. This criticism is a constructive one and I hope you take something into account and tweak your teaching series. I know it's a hell of work to do and you only get little reward - if any... To all the others: I'm not throwing shit at Flambass. I put as much effort into this comment as he is putting into this video.
