Indeed. People think "ah japanese DD..it has crap guns"...then i procede to use my 21k health pool to good effect while planting 6 HE rounds every 5.4 seconds into a Gearing or even a Friesland... I really like my Friesland too though.

Ok. Now here is the thing. As guy who doesnt play much games (3-4 hours a week usually with friends) and i love listening to stuff before going to sleep. I stumbled on this channel around 2 months ago and after waking up, i was brushing my teeth and realised the autoplay had started playing mingles vids while i was asleep. I loved his commentary and how chill he sounded and i saved the vid to watch later. And for two months i listened and watched almost all of the wows vids mingles has. Last week i downloaded the game (35 gigs wtf) and i realised i knew a lot more than i should, overmatch mechs, angling, positioning etc. So mingles, thank yıou for introducing me to this game, thank you for the tips and tricks you tought, and most of all thank you for your very fun commentary and excellent viewers, who are "mostly" nice and patient with a casual gamer like myself Cheers

@@Nutty31313 Same here. I had a triple fire today pushing a cap, backed off to heal, got targeted by the CV so had to dodge torp waves whilst knocking out his planes, and got called a camper lol.

Because of the nerf you could see that the henri was having a hard time 'hightailing it outta there' like an henri usually would. I miss the pre nerf french ships.

I never get go watch a Jingles vid this early. Vacation week is awesome.

from what i can see/tell: this ship looks like an upgraded version of the Ognevoi...same layout of guns and torps. And also good stealth for a Russian DD. Awesome gameplay and commentary. Thx for sharing this with us.

I'm currently grinding the yugamo (which I love) it has a 5.5 km detection range (stealth, *tick*) and guns, people (other DD's) always seem surprised it has guns, I very rarely see other japanese DD's firing back.

I'm using the Mighty Jingles commander and today sank a heavy submarine.

Occasionally, I’ll be playing a BB and I’ll tunnel vision a bit too hard on the broadside of an enemy and completely forget that the minimap or destroyers exist

Jingles, you didn't mention it but the Neustrashimy has a super heal, not just a regular one. That Shima might not have won a gunfight even if it had used them. Also, did you notice the Iowa who dawdled into his smoke to die was using TAM rather than Concealment? SOUL_ got proxy spotted at 3km, the classic sign that someone is about to do something dumb.

I dont know i scared a gearing off on low health with the Asashio with the same guns as Shima and the enemy Alaska was like you arent a gunboat, so i think the problem works both ways

Such a damage total, without ever using the narrow torp spread which would have pushed this total up considerably :D

When you have to go to work, but caught a new Jingles WoW video.

Well played Shima that is using its guns can be fckn scary. First you get hit by an ambush salvo for 3k, and then before you figure out what happened and rotate turrets you get hit again for another 2-3k. Next thing Shima dissapears in smoke and sods off at more than 41kts. And just when you almost catch it you get another 2-3k ambush salvo. So now you are in a duel with Shima"terrible guns dd"kaze, but you already lost at least 7k HP. And you are on fire...

Hiding from an US cruiser behind an island while looping shells over it? Bold strategy!

Possibly the biggest downer to getting Neustrashimy is that she costs as much as a T10 steel DD. Like seriously, Black, the better T9 DD, comes in at 14k steel, Neustrashimy costs 21k. That's 50% more!! For 4k more you get Somers, which is also an amazing boat and gets the bonus of being usable in competitive! Also you forgot to mention one thing old man, the heal on this ship is rather ridiculous. It's a sort of mini super heal. I headcanon some KGB agent snuck into Portsmouth one day and stole the Thunderer's super heal, then they brought it back to Russia, failed to properly reverse engineer it and stuck it on their newest destroyer project. And that, kids, is how Neustrashimy was born.

If you see Shimakaze with the name Shimakaze_Tardis.... This Shima will fight back with everything she got... and she might be ran away when she needed to....

I bet the Neustrashimy is about to get a whole lot more popular

Naw Jingles, the reason that ship is comparatively rare even for steel ships is because it's overpriced AF at 20.500 steel compared to the Black (which is the same tier) at 14.000 steel. The N-Word DD costs nearly one and a half as much as the same tier alternative. And it's playstyle isn't exactly novel either with only that superheal gimmick, so not a whole lot of reasons to choose it over the Black (which has its own gimmick on form of Surveillance Radar without having to sacrifice the Smoke consumable for it) unless you already have the latter. Much like the Azuma for coal, the N-Word DD is the steel ship you get when you've got enough ressources to spare and nothing else to spend them on.

This ship has a short detection radius because the sailors have vodka and singing anthems prohibited
