To be fair though, he did not move, thus getting easily bombed, and also got no fighter support from his team cv. Anyway, the FDR is way too good, and also cvs shouldn't be allowed in Ranked.

Sad game XD CV for support to carrying the games. If Flambas got 1 good team member it turn the game in win. CV are to op i mean 193k dmg as bb you have to do a loot of thing to get this dmg or prob im to noob at this game and i don t understand how its work :) This game show us its more world of planes destroying ships not world of warships XD

@@somebody700 See, the misconception that you can dodge a CV attack is pathetic aswell. Sure, you can dodge *a* attack. But if a CV wants you dead youll die. No matter how hard you try. To be fair though, i became a purple Shimaplayer within the last year, so yeah, you can dodge CV attacks. With a DD. Cause its detectionrange by Air is so small a CV has to loose sight while turning around. Therefore, every attack is a new one. Atleast as long as there are no fighterplanes. So, i kind of agree with you: raw dmg doesn't tell the full story. It's mostly another number in the top right combined with raw dmg. Can we now plz stop the nitpicking and accept the fact we both agree on the basic fact that these ships dont belong to the game in their current state (or at all) Peace

after the new update CA got more nerfed and BB become super long range Snipers, Kremlin has become Slava and Slava has become a Super Accurate Sharp Shooter where your salvo literally converges into a single pixel and allow you to dev strike pretty much anything broadside

I've quit on mid 2020, the pandemic causes an even bigger influx of potatoes in high Tier, making the game completely unplayable for me. I love the game, but the game doesn't justify itself as fun anymore.

I quit before Christmas after playing a ranked season where I got stuck for like 200 battles between ranks 3 and 5. It was just abysmal. Regular games were 90% potato teams and one sided stomps. Captain rework isn't making me wanna come back. I watch one of these videos every month to remind me not to reinstall. I was a true f2p player, I can only imagine how torturous it must feel for people who have invested thousands of dollars on pixel boats and premium time to watch the game turn into this heap of shit and have to wrestle with their sunk cost.

I'm starting to get the feeling that if you don't play this game while drunk, you're almost guaranteed to just suffer... last time i played i was so tired i got tired-drunk and holy moly that was the best wows i had in a while...

Imagine if you could fire armor piercing shells that had a 20% chance to start a fire per hit and destroys AA/secondary mounts, and can citadel. That's a CV.

Playing in the morning for a change, to try the new patch. Also just got the german special commander, who I can now "pour" my old commanders into. Curious how GK will do now that they added secondary "buff" to base accuracy

Well if you fully build for secondaries she will be slightly worse than before the "buff" , your secondaries will be about 2.5% less accurate. (57.5% buff to accuracy currently compared to pre rework 60%) The biggest difference is every other BB at that tier has now been given the deadeye incentive to never, ever get into secondary range with you and concealment for most ships is no longer viable for cruisers so they won't want to get in close either...

Even with low winrate today I found interesting the way you play Flambino , the great bambino.

This is a good thing. As it shows VERY clearly that even if you keep getting bad team after bad team a good player doesn't go backward. So you are not punished by having bad teams if you play your part and perform well.

Doesn't work that way. Do you even play? A "bad" team just have to have 4 of the 7 be crap, and it's totally hopeless, even if the other 3 are superunicum. Oh, and 2 of those 3 superunicums are going to lose a star. As a 65% WR normal Random player, I'm WAAAY above average. Yet I can't count on consistently being the best player on my team. Most of the time, maybe. With the far fewer team mates, potatoes are FAR more damaging to your WR than in Random. Here's an example: I'm almost a 70% WR in my Ibuki. Yeah. In an Ibuki. Can I play that in Ranked? Not a chance. Can't play my Zao either. You know why? Because, like so many cruisers, they depend on TIME to have an impact. *MOST* other cruisers have the same problem. If the game ends in 8 minutes, which isn't uncommon in Ranked, I can't even hope to be the top player consistently, due to the way XP is computed. A CV on your team is almost guarranteed to be top in short games, because they get tons of XP for spotting and they get big devstrikes in right at the beginning. Because at the beginning of the match, you KNOW where everything is, so a CV can just focus down a ship and get 30k+ damage in the first 2 minutes. With virtually no effort. Seriously, you really haven't played the game at all, if you think that the "best" player can't get fucked over by the system in Ranked. It's completely ludicrous how they do it, which is why I left after this Ranked season started, and it became blindingly obvious that WG NEVER EVER EVER plays their own game, and has ZERO clue as to how it works.

WG introduces star saving. Players: but I lost ! So how could I save star ?

I mean no shit the whales come back when they wasted so much money into the game and since they're whales they keep spending. They don't want to see the bad sides cause that would mean they funded shit so they just ignore them. This game is F2P so the normal playerbase that doesn't spend more then 10 bucks or so in the year is not at all important to WG and if they quit they don't get as much hate anymore so it's win-win for them!

This is the thing. Cruisers(especially USN island camping) became obsolete with that captain reworked. Already they took a huge hit when MVR and FDR were introduced. But now it's like Godzilla vs a teddy bear.

this is exactly what I've seen in recent days in this game, the meta is apparently either max range sniping and camp till you die/lose, or yoloing and not giving a fk. edit: to answer your plea for help, I have had success in ranked while playing Thunderer, that ship actually works.

As to losing stars if I remember the rules correctly, if you score in the top slots of your team u don't lose a star even if your team loses. and we all know Flambass will be in the top 2 slots.
