That Odin player, well done really... He saw his position would be overrun quickly, so he pushed for a trade with the Petro, successfully killed the Petro *and* tanked a few more salvos from enemy ships, then he *spotted the Kagero for you to kill* before dying. That tier 8 guy milked every single potential outcome he could help and went down swinging. What an absolute hero... At least, I choose to think this is how he saw it happen, and so his actions were deliberately aimed towards this outcome.

That is true! These games are never possible without your teammates' actions. Hipper capturing C alone vs Pommern & Kurfurst, our Kagero not being hesitant to push into B early in a Tier X lobby with radar all the while being the only destroyer, etc.

Hey Robin- YesterdayLag404 from WOWS Legends SuperTest here! :) I love that same spot in Baltimore on WOWSL. I can sometimes make it work in Prinz Eugen and Kutuzov, but it definitely feels more reliable for American cruisers. Damn... imagine if Legends had Radar consumables like that (and of that reload time)... that would be wild.

Outstanding game Robin. DM is without a doubt the best island hopping cruiser in the game. Some folks complain about "hiding" behind islands but you take what's given to you and in war... who the hell wouldn't use all the cover they could find??!! That map is very DM friendly also. Lots of low points on the islands that are perfect for DM fire arch.

Don't listen to that. Most Cruisers are meant to be played with cover, outside of some exceptions. Peeps that say otherwise just don't play the class ^^

I love that spot as well. It just sucks when the flank dissolves and you cannot escape fast enough.

Some clean plays my man, I can see to improve my DM play to be more like yours. in a few specific scenarios I would have made different decisions than you and it probably would have ended badly lol At around 5:20 I probably would have pushed with the odin and tried to tank the GK with the 30mm casemate and kill the petro, or maybe kited away to farm using the 30mm to angle and bounce. My reasoning would have mostly been to try to "compensate" for the Odin's suicide push, but I guess even if your teammates are doomed you can still use the spotting they provide in those positions to your benefit while keeping yourself safe. And around 10:30, I have a bad habit of accelerating way too fast when I'm trying to slide my front guns around an island to target ships like that Monty because I pump the throttle to max (and I run legmod so it really takes off), in the future I'll keep my speed at 1/4 throttle. It's often hard to just be patient as you slowly creep into position though lol.

Hey @The Sailing Robin :) Is this the build you would recommend for the DM ? I am looking for some alternatives to the recommended build ingame, for my 21pt. Cpt. Halsey :) I Can't decide on whether to use Pyrotechnician or Top Grade Gunner, or both - or none... :)

That F7 position is also my favorite position for this map but if the team get pushed back too fast it’s hard to pull back or hold on.

Hi! How to get rid of the name and ship name from visuals, but have them on minimal?

I really struggle with my Des Moines mainly because I really cannot get a feel for the slow shell travel time, especially since DD's like to be at 10Km away and use their speed boosts alot.

Hardest line to grind for me. I play Cleveland the same way you play this cruiser anyway.

If one does not own the legendary upgrade would you recommend Reload or Range Mod? I mostly run range and need it a lot with all the camping deadeye bbs. But maybe I just need to push further in xD

If I had I choice I'd run reload mode for sure. The range is nice, but also gets you spotted in some tricky situation, so I see it as a double edge sword (the more range you have, the bigger your spotting bloom gets when you fire, etc)

great video as usual, and great play as usual, only going point out one thing, do not make sense to me compliment all the t8 ships in "enemy" team, but hipper and odin in your team got nothing, do not saw the others, but at least that 2 deserved that.

I compliment enemies on a win if the match was close. Yes, Odin & Hipper did very good (Hipper by capping C alone, Odin by taking care of Petro and spotting Kagero) but in the end, they got a win out of it. The enemy Tier VIII didn't.
