Decided to dive into the tech tree in a separate video. :) Hope this was helpful to anyone looking to try or someone who’s new to WoWS. 👍🏻

At this point they weren't very prominent. That doesn't mean they didn't exist.

This game has turned in to such shit over the last few years. The Devs don't know how to balance the game and they are pushing P2W ships in the shop all the time.

Believe it or not, I completely agree with you. They used to put a lot more effort into it. These days all I see is events asking you to pay for everything. That part kind of sucks. But honestly, it's a game that has PvE progression, and considering that other games like this can't even hold a candle to this in this regard (like War Thunder) it's a HUGE positive for me. At the end of the day, us as players need to vote with our wallets. I don't buy everything I see, and certainly not stuff that just looks like P2W or a blatant cash grab. And I think others should follow suit, so that the company doesn't think they can just get away with selling everything and not focusing on balancing the game for the broader audience. Nevertheless, I do have a ton of fun playing this, as I usually almost always play PvE (co-op battles and operations) as it's usually very chill, and I enjoy that :) Thanks so much for watching brother. Much appreciate that, and your thoughts about the game as well.

@@SSPGaming Pretty much man. I quit this when they decided to add in subs. I slogged through the CV rework for a while on and off but haven't touched the game since subs got added. The game has so so much potential. The Art team almost always does a 10/10 job with the ship art. It's just that the game design and balance team are smoking some questionable things.

The art team seems to be doing a pretty good job as of late :-) the only thing I was a little upset about is picking up the Kong versus Godzilla pack, and realizing that those guys aren’t actually riding the ship in the battle. Unfortunately greed is a main driving factor, for a lot of these kind of companies for example, it’s the reason why I don’t play any Ubisoft games anymore, I’ve just been burned too many times with blind greed, but yet the technical aspects of the game are in shambles As an example of this, I participated in the technical test as well as the early alpha for Breakpoint. Even in the early versions of the game, the store was just about operational. Well, things like detail, textures, and voice overs were nowhere to be found. So I’m definitely no stranger to companies doing similar things. I guess I’m just in the honeymoon stage still so I’m willing to overlook some of these things so that I can try to just enjoy the game a little. I completely understand how people feel though because I’ve covered star citizen for quite some time on the shuttle , and towards the end of that, I became quite bitter and judgemental towards the company that made it despite new people coming and being very excited. Thanks so much for all this context, I appreciate it and hope that wargaming starts to do better by their players.

Honestly I agree. I play regularly but I realized only a small handful of people I know still play, the majority have gone. I’m not a big fan of WarGaming and what they’ve done to the game, honestly. But the PVE battles are enjoyable for me sometimes, so on occasion I’ll dive in to a few just for fun. :)

I played WOWS for 6 years , watched dumpster fire after dumpster fire in the community because Wargaming has zero respect for their customers . They had a walkout of CC's because of their lack of respect . The addition of subs was the final straw for me , done with the game and the sleazy company that makes it .

Wow. It’s an interesting perspective. One that’s already been shared with me before. I appreciate you taking the time to write this, because now I’m just really curious about what all happened that made people have this view. I’m relatively new to the game (though been playing long enough to have a reasonably good grasp of it) and the only thing I noticed is that they tend to be quite…. Forward, when it comes to asking their players for money lol. Fortunately for me, I don’t just buy everything they put out, although I have definitely picked up a bunch of ships that I ended up enjoying for the most part. I try not to get involved in the politics and just try to enjoy a game for what it is. Having covered star citizen for almost 2 years, I know all about that. And drama :) Are you able to provide more context on what wargaming has done to alienate so many players? Thanks very much for your input!

@@SSPGaming It would amount to me writing a novella to explain it all . Lie after lie passed off as miscommunication . It went well passed the point of giving them the benefit of the doubt as far as a fair number of players and community contributors were concerned . They had a walkout of long term CC's and streamers due to their attitude in dealing with them and the playerbase . I had a presence on the forum for quite some time and the community rep fro WG was referred to as the Mouth of Sauron on the forum , snide , arrogant and disdainful in his dealings with the playerbase and CC's alike especially during the Puerto Rico dumpster fire. I would suggest you look at Flamu's vids on KZread going back if you want to get a grasp of things . He does have a bone to pick with WG but he's never been less than honest . Now having said that , if you stick to messing around in PVE you'll be fine but start playing Randoms and you'll get a better idea of why players have left the game due to subs and the CV rework , there's little to no effective counterplay to either one , the games balance has been ruined and WG doesn't give a crap it there's money to be made from selling them in the premium shop .

Just one example of sleaziness . the first dock yard event to get the Puerto Rico held the promise that the ship could be obtained for free . When the requirements were released they were so extreme , especially considering it was the holiday season that it made the ship pretty much un-obtainable by most players unless you played 12-16 hours a day or put money in to the starter packs and it was still a hard grind if you spent the money on those . Pure outrage was the result from the playerbase and CC's . One of the excuses/responses given was the event was geared towards the handicapped players that had nothing but time on their hands . Classic WG .

Thank you for taking the time. I really appreciate this. It’s unfortunate. As someone who enjoys PVE a lot more than PVP I think you’re right. I don’t think I’m going to see as many of the problems that have become manifest. That being said, I have tried PVP and I’m really not a big fan of it at all. I hope that in doing what you’ve done, explaining about the past, and the issues that have come up, we may be able to eventually bring this information to a much more public forum were more people will be educated about how the company has conducted themselves. I think if enough people get involved, there’s always some hope for change, but the problem is with these kinds of games. Most people just continue to buy things and throw caution to the wind as I’ve always said, as players we need to vote with our wallets. There is only so much support that a company is going to get from investors, but much of that support won’t be available. If the investors don’t see that the players are willing to purchase the product. Thanks again for your input :-)

I remember hearing a lot about that whole Puerto Rico debacle. Even these days, it takes a lot of work to grind out a doc yard ship that being said, I’d rather do that, then pay money for it. I’d rather spend money to get some nice skins for ships that I love to play or buy a ship that I think I’m really going to enjoy.
