World of Warplanes | Spitfire IX | Review | Tier VII | Fighter
As the third Spitfire in a series of four, this is just another Spitfire. It doesn't change enough to notice from the Spit V at tier VI. It's a fine plane, but much like the Bf-109 line you end up flying essentially the same plane for much of the tech tree. The upgrade to the .50 cals does feel a little bit better in function compared to the .303's, if I had to chose an improvement.

I’m always impressed the way you plan your tactics in advance and k ow which planes to attack and which ones not to at that time. I see red and I go for it, lol. Someday maybe I can plan better
Lookin’ forward to you hitting the Attacker... and definitely the Swift.
You just need that ugraded cannons to kill someone, with stock ones is so hard...

B32 was going for the airfield beacuse there is no high-altitude AA guns... Btw.: your voice track should be a little louder than sounds from the game - especially during a battle ;)

Regis "Therion" Sawyer I noticed the audio issue as well. But Had the tracks cranked up on the editing and recording end. I’ll have to lower the in-game for the next time. Thanks, I was wondering if I was just being over critical or if there was an issue. As for the B-32... not a good reason. He can cap that zone in a single pass. Getting hit with AA is part of being a bomber. After he gets the mining plant I don’t care what he does. That B-17 made several passes before he wasn’t even at half health.
It isn't a bad plane but more like 'meh'-tier. Would prefer the Bf-109G any day (other than turnfighting)
What you like more Spitfire or Bf109 ?

AnimalMother I prefer the Bf-109 for a couple of reasons: 1. I prefer altitude fighters (I can take on any plane the way I want to) 2. Good fire power start to finish on this line. 3. P. 1092 & P. 1101 (worth the grind, something to look forward to). But that’s my style, high and fast. Spitfires can do it all and there is a place for that, so it really is a preference thing.
