im right right with you. ever since an old tom clancy dogfighting game ive loved the p38 sexy bird.

I already got the rockets and bombs from the f4u-1 Corsair and they’re adequate for wrecking mining plants but the reload time is way too long. My favourite part was the guns. This my favourite heavy and I get so many wins in it.

Just bought this plane today and it is awesome! It can go from from 5000 ft to 10000 ft in a few seconds with boost and be all over a bombers rear. I stopped trying to ground attack and stick to bomber hunter and it works great!

How do you know a real player from a bot?

right click on the names in the team list and if you get the drop down menu it's a player

owh, it is fixed gun, for the cannon selection, I do not which one to chose, but I would be go with the 23mm cannon, for rate of fire and range, a lot pressing the right-mouse button, hehehehehe, nice dogfights, a bit slightly would have the Winged Legend but can't make it, due to the air supremacy, but still want to with this Lightning. glad to see it.

You have 5 guns in total,4 of which are .50cals with 500 range...what a single 23 will do to your target if there is not enough dps to follow it up? The 37 on the other hand has the same range as your MGs and does more damage per shot

@@dimitrisoikonomou3568 yes, it is true, but that more likely if the enemy planes (the players) are not stay in single plain sight, they would always do the unpredictable maneuver, it just cannon selection, if you chose the more damage, please do as you were, since my teammates are full of hesitation & still have some problem mechanics in Asian server, I had to chose the 23mm cannon for the rate of fire & range of fire, I know it is low damage, at least I shot them for knowing that "don't shot my teammates".

I havent requested a video in a while,but can you please make a guide for the Soviet Bombers and how they playout using a mid tier one (like the Pe-2 or Tu-2)? Most people underestimate them or just look away when they see this 4-bomb load...My thoughts are that they are the best and most interesting bomber line in the game

Dimitris Oikonomou sounds good, I have the Pe-2 M-82 on standby. When I did play war thunder the USSR bombers were my favorite. The Pe-2 brings back fond memories.

@@Veebat Nice, thanks a lot!!Some people still laugh at me when i say that the ruskies are the best bombers in the game(their w/l ratio indicates that i should laugh with them but my goal is to make everyone better not for me to get worse :) )

What equipment do you have mounted and why?

p-38 is a aiplane for playing wery carefully, ,dont angage with hunters in close fight,shot and run ,turn back and atacke again. the speed is not the best ,wee bat given a good exampel in that video,but not every game is so easy ,so come down guys ,how ever p-38-j is only one us airplane ı keeped in my hangar ,the rest of us airplanes for me just crap , ( ı hate 30 mm canones ) nerfed in wowp

Richard Strugnell don’t let me influence your control scheme. It sounds silly but control setup for someone who has been playing any game for a period of time is kind of a personal thing. It’s most important you feel comfortable and then the skills should follow. But, if you aren’t attached to the joystick and want to try the keyboard I would suggest heavy use of the right mouse button. If you try to look around you with the aircraft you cause excessive turning that bleeds vital energy. The reason I didn’t like joystick was due to the inability to look around me as easily as the mouse let’s you. Use the roll mechanic with the A and D keys. Aligning your wings even slightly before the turn grants you a smoother transition from level flight. At first you may feel like your leading the plane like a carrot on a stick, but after awhile it will feel normal and less significant. I feel like this feeling is an indicator of what the aircraft is capable of compared to what I’m trying to ask of it. If those are too different then I have asked to much of the bird and need a better strategy after respawn.

@@Veebat Thanks for the tips as I used the keyboard initially then went to joystick but found the joystick uncomfortable so went back to the keyboard, again thanks for the tips and will give it a go.

Just for the sake of the conversation: I'm a "Core" Joystick player... been that way since Forever (70's). So for me it's Second Nature, and I tend to keep a running picture of the Battle Space in my mind's eye. To augment the mental picture, I use the Mini Map full zoom, the Battle Space Map and a button on my Joystick set to "Snap To Target" (only while Button is pressed, Not Toggle)... Going Joystick from a Cold Start is a bit of work. I've trained my two young Sons on Joystick from the beginning... so for my Boys there was very little adjustment needed, they have grown into it... Bottom Line is stick to what you Like, but don't be hesitant to try new ways. -Shoe Button

never got around to the Lightnings (made my way to the Tigercat via Corsairs)... I probably should, really like the design too... Also, didnt WG tease the F-82 Twin Mustang at some point? That should also be quite interesting... :-)

tyrendian89 the F-82 is real! But is going to be a reward for referring a buddy. Problem is that makes it much harder to get unless you and a friend start alts and refer each other lolz. Did that in tanks I think to get something awhile back

Hi Vee Bat! Is there any info on when the F-82 is due to Drop? Curious Minds would Love to know... 😁
