The fact that at 51:10 Wirtual managed to keep the checkpoint out of frame perfectly for a whole 360 was amazing

There's nothing incredibly remarkable about the pyramids. They built them with rough hewn stone -- basically quarry rubble -- fit with gypsum mortar, then cased that garbage rock in casing blocks which were surfaced in situ, and even those blocks were far from uniform.. There was absolutely zero precision in the structural blocks, they literally just quarried out anything that was structurally sound and shipped it off, it was only the casing blocks that had any "precision," and even that was nothing spectacular. Notice how there aren't any huge chambers in the pyramids -- something that would have required the understanding of the arch and keystone, which wasn't a thing until the Romans built the Pons Fabricius in 62 BC -- had they been built by aliens or with "superior technology that has been lost," wouldn't they have built structures that... I don't know... were technologically superior and not perfectly reasonable for the time period? The blocks aren't nearly as big as people claim they are, either -- a barge, the likes of which the Egyptians were perfectly capable of building, could have transported a dozen at a time, at least. Ignoring all else, they were also orders of magnitude smaller than the granite used as obelisks in Rome, Constantinople, etc. To this point, people don't realize how large the boats in the ancient Mediterranean world were; look at the Leontophoros (build in the early 3rd century BC) in Memnon's _History of Heracleia_ , or the Tessarakonteres (late 3rd century BC) in Plutarch's _Parallel Lives_ . The latter of which was nearly half as long as the Titanic, and just about as wide. Yeah... _There was one eight (octareme), which was called Leontophoros, remarkable for its size and beauty. In this ship while there were a hundred men rowing each file so that there were eight hundred men from each side, from both sides there were one thousand six hundred oarsmen. Those who fought from the deck were one thousand two hundred. And there were two helmsmen._ and _Ptolemy Philopator built [a ship] of forty banks of oars, which had a length of two hundred and eighty cubits, and a height, to the top of her stern, of forty-eight; she was manned by four hundred sailors, who did no rowing, and by four thousand rowers, and besides these she had room, on her gangways and decks, for nearly three thousand men-at‑arms._ Ancient peoples were capable of building absolutely monstrous watercraft. There's no reason whatsoever to believe that people haven't been capable of transporting and manipulating massive stones without powered machinery for ages. The whole conspiracy surrounding them is a clear result of recency bias being baked into education. Or, at the very least, fewer and fewer people caring to actually read history -- instead opting to watch incredibly watered down KZread videos by people whose main sources are Wikipedia articles. People think that we are the pinnacle of civilization and that everyone prior to 1700 or so were cavemen banging each other over the head with rocks. They weren't. Stonemasonry has been a refined art for millennia and the pyramids were built by means of skilled planning and thousands of laborers, over the course of decades. It's childish to try and explain it as anything more _or_ less. The process of building them was a series of repeated tasks. That's it.

Watching this video is like waking up from a dream and trying to remember how anything fit together, but all you get is little snippets of information, and you feel like you're going crazy.

Im still pretty garbage, but have improved a lot thx to his videos and a few other YTers whom I now follow from watching his videos so much. Wirtual's videos are just so damn wholesome. I really love his content ^-^
The cut to an ad when Wirtual was talking about how Elensar was going to cut out the laggy footage was so perfect 😂😂
9:34 me coming back to my senses and being awake again when I was falling asleep, because I got called out so hard xD

7:10 i actually wondered how he was going so fast at it lol
Today i learned that Wirtual is a disc golfer, huge
44:22 might be one of the more satisfying checkpoints to watch
Dude, a 7 hour vod would give me at least 14 nights of sleep. Cmon bro
Wirtual built the Pyramides. It has to be!
I can tell just by looking at wirt this was many eons ago
This video has everything: pyramid talk, Sweden bashing, veiled threats to editors, a flood of “nice” at checkpoint 69, calls for more bobsleigh, and advocacy for copious cheese on lasagne. A must watch.

my toast buttering tech is to place like three 3mm thick pats of room temp butter on the toast and then not spread them, but place my second piece of toast on top of the first, so the first toasts butter melts as i repeat that for the second toast, then i swap positions and it's so soft i can then spread it trivially, and then swap back around to the second toast on top to spread that now melted butter. it's not something i try to rush, it's just the efficient technique I've developed from years of making eggs and toast for breakfast.
51:02 When the best hiding place is in plain sight
A great calming video to sleep to! I totally did not miss half the vid dozing off only to go back and fall asleep once again.
A video I would like from Virtual would be something like building the best Nadeo campaign from the campaigns in the game. So like, which of the 01 maps is the best 01 map, which is the best 02 map etc
Wirtual out there teaching us about healthy mindsets and chekhov's gun. What a legend
"If it's seven hours, it's exactly what my KZread viewers like to fall asleep to." It's like he knows who I am
Wirtual had a Tony Hawk moment?! EDIT: The main thing I'm taking away from this is that Wirtual is self-conscious about his cooking.
Nah even on KZread we know about the pyramid topic the internal ramp theory and zahi hawass being an anime villain
I watched scrappie play this yesterday but accidently fell asleep at checkpoint 63. Good thing wirtual is here to help me finish the rest of the map
9:33 literally. It's a lullaby. I love it. How do you know we like to fall asleep to the long vids?
2:55 I feel like I couldn't joke about that if I was him in that situation. Makes it even more funny to me.
Ive already watched Scrapie play the map but i'll watch it again so that Elensar's editing isnt in vain 👍
Love watching you play trial maps ☺️🥳
I took a nap during one of your random map vod’s and now I understand the hype behind sleeping to your videos.

Wirt thank you more for those words of wisdom at the beginning, "perfectly timed" from my perspective in hearing them.
Thanks a lot for this video! It helped me sleep 4 nights in a row!!
Watching Wirtual narrowly undershoot a big jump first try is like edging. It looks like it might be there and he’s got the speed, he goes silent, car crashes into the ledge, big oof but you feel it. Then he makes the jump and it’s just sweet release
The commitment on this man is intense lmao
Edit - There's enough pyramid content 👌 I'm no longer upset But, the internal ramp theory was so controversial 🥺 I miss it. KZread was just the right amount of informed 😂

WOO new Wirtual video!!
A 1 hour wirtual video on my day off, boy oh boy.
Why does Wirtual turned into Peter Pattinson in The Batman ?
When wirtuals KZread career ends, he will become the next Tor Heyerdahl, and he will be researching the pyramids
Indeed nomal stuff Thank you for the information about Wirtual Mr Elensar
"You don't have to speedrun to get to the top of something". Somebody take his FWO membership away.
9:45 wirtual says "they love to fall asleep to." Not me falling asleep to this vid
I blushed when you said that the yotubers like to fall asleep to videos like this because I do fall asleep to videos like this.
21:50 only domesticated carrots are orange, wild carrots are yellow.
I love the fight between wirtual and his editors over the pyramids
1:01:12 this is definitely a new sentence.
51:26... Caveman vision striking again xD
Lol i legit am watching this to help me chill before sleep lol @9:39
I laughed when he was talking about his long vod video being a lullaby for viewers. But after about 40 minutes just completely dozed off sitting in my chair for the first time in my life, only to wake up two hours later in shock, wow. Yeah I haven't slept for a while prior to that, but I've never fallen asleep sitting at my desk
I was looking for trial maps to play, cam across this on TMX last night and saw Wirt already had the WR on it, so I was waiting for this video lol
Qhen you said that people fall asleep to these videos, it was right when I was about to knock out. Cheers Wirtual
I love that wirtual plays disc golf, I wonder what his favorite disc is or favorite player
18:33 editer be like Hold my 3d triangle
I like how this is edited so that you have as little context as possible for each conversation and have to figure out what he is talking about and if he has gone insane.
The mapper making CP 34 bobsleigh is exactly my type of humour
You're 100% correct I love to just listen, chill, watch this on my TV, and ZZZzzz
pls more pyramid theories, that's awesome content
WIRTUAL DISC GOLFS LETS GOOOOO
9:35 i swear.. me laying in bed after nightshift. Listening to him almost falling asleep and you say that xD
Man is this really trackmania content or just self improvement tips at this point. For real though i really like your mindset, great videos, keep it up !
I really want to see a whole compilation of the pyramid talks on this channel :p
2:30 wirtual has told this anecdote at least 5 times on videos so far
My therapist: Emo Wirtual is not real, he can't hurt you. Emo wirtual:
We demand more Pyramid! We saw the Pyramid VOD!!!
20:15 "is this enough speed?" *drives into at 450 kmh* "... no"
Elensar's voice was a nice variety from Wirtual's squieking
"We talk about totally normal things here" >Wirtual making a ramp with with his arm in the background
im glad Wirtual doesn't talk about geometrical shapes in any way shape or form
9:43 he knows I sleep to these videos
How did you know i fall asleep watching your videos? 😮
I’ve been watching this video for 4 months and still have never seen the last checkpoint best steamer to sleep to
we need one more wirtychan channel that specialized on his pyramid talks
I for sure up your watch time from falling asleep to your hour long or more videos lmfao
Crazy how Wirts record now could be driven in less time that this videos length
Add crushed crisps (potato chips) to the cheese in lasagne, macaroni cheese. Just mix it in the layer on the top, I've done this for years, it will add great texture
9:42 brooo he’s watching out for us KZread VOD sleepers 🫡
I feel called out, I totally watch at least 5 minutes before sleep.
The brown cheese Wirtual was talking about is Cheese with caramel. Which actually doesn't sound that bad.
I NEED the playlist you listen to in the background
5:35 "I don't have a dog, my parents have a dog. So I visited them, and took _my_ dog out." I think the four of you need to have the talk :D
bro your voice is a lullaby in the best possible way
