I remember this game. My favorite opening strategy was open with airport, buy a scout and then order a decoy airborne assault on the enemy's base. This would force the enemy to switch strategies and spam AA to defend his base. I would then divert the airborne into the towns and forests around the enemy base before his AA could identify the Ruse, forcing ANOTHER switch to infantry to dislodge fake units. Meanwhile, I would speedtech directly to Pershings while grabbing a bunch of supply bases and a support base. By the time the enemy had recovered from a fake zerg, I would have high-tier tanks supported by a scout plane and mobile AA ready to claim the center. This is weak to TDs, yes, but my enemy was rushing AA, then infantry, to stop what he thought was a noob airborne rush. So he never built TDs, because TDs cant engage the infantry he was expecting to fight. Putting me at an early advantage.

This is old to comment on, but that strat would never work on a competent player. Mainly because decryption. Fake units have a distinct move command when being spawned. And your staff always calls out the enemy using dummy units.

I love ruse so much. Its like my number 1 best strategy game I played

Funny, if World of Tanks had RUSE gameplay, then artillery would be completely worthless. In fact I find the fact that artillery can't be used against tanks almost game breaking. Makes artillery almost worthless apart from for fear factor.......

i use arty and its great when focus firing specific tanks with multiple arties and allows us to do about 60% of that vehicles hitpoints if its same tier on all three shots hitting

ive played ruse very fun game

Great vids just 1 question where can I buy RUSE on my computer other than Steam? (P.S I have mobile strike the fake tank ones is like the fake forces ability (you have to buy it with in game gold doe) and with fake forces your army is faked to look like its 2x bigger then it actually is).

Okay, RUSE fand ich anfangs ganz spaßig, lief für mich aber zu sehr auf "Listen-Spam" hinaus, der den Rest verdrängte und mich persönlich auf Dauer anödete. Muss mich wirklich anstrengen, etwas verbesserungswürdiges zu finden (außer eventuell dass mir die Scheinarmee etwas... öde abgehandelt wurde, aber ist ja Geschmackssache), daher sage ich einfach mal, besonders in Anbetracht meiner eigenen Unfähigkeit, mit Stop-Motion zu arbeiten - Sexcellent! Würde mich übrigens riesig freuen, wenn du ähnliche Videos für Armored Warfare machen könntest, aber ich denke, zwei Panzerspiele simultan wären doch etwas zu viel.

Vielen Dank für deine Meinung! Ich muss zugeben ich habe bei der Scheinarmee geschlammt, das war die letzte Szene die ich für das Video gedreht hab und ich hatte zu dem Zeitpunkt kaum noch Konzentration. Armored Warfare steht auf meiner Liste, müsste das Spiel aber erstmal eine Zeit lang daddeln bevor ich Videos daraus machen kann. Genau wie Warships und War Thunder.

With the spades and steel cable and details as such, do you paint them separately (not on the tank) and glue them on after you've painted the body, or do you just paint them after being glued on? EDIT: The video was fantastic, by the way! Laughed so hard at the dummy tanks.
