That was one hell of a race.

Props to the WOO social media team for getting these videos out so quickly and with such high quality. Props to the drivers and organization for putting out the best racing product on the planet right now. That was a fantastic race. I was finally able to budget for a Dirtvision subscription this year. This race makes me realize that was money well spent. Or at least that I've spent $300 on dumber things. LOL

Holy cow man, are you kidding me !! What a race on that last two laps. Congrats #17. And on that chewed up track. As the old saying goes, "Dirt is for racing, asphalt is for getting there".

Did anyone notice Gravel's right front wheel/tire? Looks like the shock failed mid-race. He drove the snot out of it anyway. Great race. Love those outlaw guys.

Almost caused him to junk it coming out of 4 to the checkers he was trying everything to block the whole track probably ended up letting off a ton and turning down the track causing him to lose the win

That, Ladies and Gentlemen, is some of THE finest and funnest sprint car racing you are ever, EVER, going to see!! And I’ve been watching since the early 70’s when I got to climb all over the sprint car of my neighbors brother, Roger Larson! Who was an original Outlaw! He succumbed to his injuries in one of the nastiest three car sprint car crashes ever. Those who were there have never forgotten!! These guys put on one hell of a show!!

@@unclebones2488 I got a little older, 12-13ish and my dad took me over Harry Torkerlsons (?), whom I believe was a truck driver like my father, and I was allowed to sit in the drivers seat of his sprint car!! His place if I recall correctly was over near the arena in Sioux Falls. Oh boy…..lots of memories flooding in!!

@@unclebones2488 yah I wasn’t sure of his last name but definitely a favorite of my father. I remember a sprint or maybe a modified that was kinda a fav of mine was an a yellow #77. Then a white, Dodge/Plymouth, #4 that ran circles around everyone. And starting from a dead start in front of the stands!! was the best!

I can’t say enough about the announcers/commentators who really make what is just another race into some of the most exciting times at the races. Great work by all !

Johnny’s been doing this for a long time and to hear his shear excitement for that race just proves even more of what an incredible race that was! Gonna be a great season. Go #17!

Johnny is a true sprint car fanboy. Take it from an old friend of his. Not too many people would drive from Pittsburgh to Kokomo Indiana for one night of racing and drive back the same night…

A lot of people are starting to realize dirt racing is far superior to asphalt. Kyle Larson is the best thing to happen to dirt racing in my lifetime. You really can’t put a price on the amount of additional exposure he brings to all the dirt classes he races. A reigning NASCAR champion who races Midgets, Winged Spints, and Late Models just for fun on week days and off weekends for NASCAR? The man is already a legend.

@@birthdaybatter815 Kyle really has brought a whole new fan base to all types of racing that he runs. Those fans new and old are crossing over to view his outcomes on the track. Some even finding they like the fast pace, thrilling consequences when crashing and, the shorter race length of clay/dirt track racing. I recall Kyle in victory lane at Kings Speedway in Hanford California in October 2012 after winning NARC/410cu. winged Sprint car race "The Cotton Classic" he said "Wow this feels like I won the Datona 500 !" He had beat some of the best drivers and was thrilled he had won. Believe he was 18-19 yrs at the time. I believe he'll cross that race of his win list this February. ✌️🏁

@@fivecitydirttracker4776 i truly think larson would rather race dirt. I think he has more fun but obviously the big money is in cup racing. So glad the dude races what he can when he is available. Fun to watch for sure. And yes, he is bringing fans out of the woodwork. All for that! 👍

Now that is what racing is all about! The outlaws are simply the best racing on the planet hands down. Great job Sheldon, the racing gene is strong in this guy!

@@cheddydoit0404 plus Logan Schuchart had too much bad luck last year as well. Logan Schuchart may have had a top 3 in points and a few more wins if it wasn't for late race bad luck.
