I was riding on mandrill during the opening ceremony. It was amazing to be riding whilst all the fire and smoke was going, once in a lifetime moment. I've done 4 rides so far and back row is my favourite so far.

It was such a great day! It was so much fun to finally ride Mandrill Mayhem after following your construction updates on the whole area. It was so nice to meet you guys yesterday and I hope to see you again.

We have just got back today we managed to get on Mandrill mayhem 8 times it was also my daughters first Upside down ride obviously going on it 8 times this is now her favourite ride. The operations were fantastic today on all rides specially the new ones I have criticised Chessington in the past but they get a big thumbs up from me.

I'm so glad you captured the opening as we were on that train as it went overhead.. We got an hour early in the park as glamping guests so they did a prior opening at 9am so that was our 3rd time on the ride and it just so happended they told us at the station we need to wait a few mins as we're going over head for the public launch :) so we got a nice fire and smoke show on the way round 😂😂

Seeing us queuing up for Mamba Strike 29:12 on one of your videos is a goal I never thought of but happy to have achieved it. What a day it was!

My main concern is trying to get on the back row, since it offers a different experience it should really have a seperate entrance/queue!

Ah that little boy will remember opening jumanji world for the rest of his life. Hats off to Chessington. ❤

I loved opening day at Chessington yesterday it was very fun I love the new area I got on the coaster 5 times and its more fun every time I'd say and last of all I'd like to say it was very nice meeting you thank you for taking a picture with my brother it means a lot to him.

Was a a great day. Had to leave early, but still managed 5 rides on Mandrill. queue moved really quickly. Great operations even with the odd batching procedure. Hopefully they can keep that up. They do need to sort the operations out on ostrich stampede though. That was shocking. Good to meet you and Charlotte too 👍🏻

I can think of only two words to sum this ride up: Flipping Awesome! I've just been on it three times, now queuing for my fourth ride 😁

Row six was the best, I found: the last row facing backwards riding up the spine. The twice-launch system and acceleration combined with excellent airtime is what makes this one of my favourite rides of all time (Tron at Disneyland aside).

Thanks for the videos on this expansion! Looks like a real step up for UK parks in terms of immersive lands, and great to see the digital queue working so well - hopefully it continues to do so. Congrats to Chessington on delivering so brilliantly!

Excellent job Merlin & Chessington staff - love the Mandrill Mayhem ride and theming of the tiger; some good flat rides in this area and hats off for the best Merchandise I've seen - good idea to have Jumanji merch available to buy whilst in this area.

Second to the back row is the best for me, you get that height with the spike and the force when going in reverse. Amazing coaster!

I do like the idea of reservation for the ride as yeah it will be insanely long queues, it does seem like they made it easy but i can see why it will annoy people

Don’t forget the dualling coaster due at Legoland for 2024 too?! Guys you made my boys day yesterday taking your time out of your day for a selfie, thank you SO much. We managed 6 rides an Mandrill Mayhem yesterday aincluding front and back and both sides and it was so exciting to experience our first launch day for a new land/rides. A special day that will live long in the memory for myself and my boy, and the atmosphere captures so well in this video! p.s. go get that Jeep Renegade! 😂 😎

I know you like this ride but it could have been much better with a complete circuit it could have still been family friendly

I would need to look into it more but i dont think reserving rides will go down well with some people when they put in standard ques because wouldnt it essentially be a more polite way of que jumping?? Never been much of a fan of things like that or even fast pass to be honest. Maybe im missing the point with the reservervations though and its not as bad as what it seems like it would be

Fabulous…..Wahaaaaaaay…Oyyyyyyyyyy… I must say the drummers opening looked like something from a West End production..blew anything Disney has to offer away!! Cheers for the updates, dislike the virtual queue aswell, hope they scrap it in future and just let people requeue straight away after riding. As yes its a re rideable rollercoaster ride 100%. Still think they could of done with more than one train via transfer tracks? But we shall see what happens with crowd control & throughputs when the summer holidays aswell other season holidays begin. As still not 100% convinced they will be ok on the quick throughputs on not just this ride / coaster Mandrill Mayhem, but also the other flat rides. Mostly the coaster as that is the main attraction for the world itself, but yeah I guess will have to see results when the park cross that bridge? Its 100% a nice exciting land I cannot wait to step into especially after rewatching both new movies & for first time watching the 1995 movie starring Robin Williams. Got a lot of amazing shots in this land, loved the one with lamps & Jaguar statue itself, think in my opinion could add more stalls there maybe in future a restaurant in that area? Or maybe another stall with seating area? Aswell this land like stated another video maybe toilets featured somewhere & facilities. Think that would be quite good, but overall. Also think queue lines on rides could do with roofs & maybe more theming walls on the cattlepen queue lines? Still offering views of coaster, rides. But just more adding to the land, story? But overall so far, really good land. Cheers again. 😀👍

@@ThemeParkWorldwide , Just rewatched this for the 2nd time, really was an epic new addition for 2023, wonder what will be next for Merlin Parks, hope Nemesis Reborn has an opening event like this, be quite epic and a good atmosphere. Wonder if Hyperia gets a opening like that aswell? With the soundtrack blasting, love the soundtrack for that new coaster coming this year, cannot wait to see it in person. That virtual queueing system for mandrill mayham for the weekends is going to be a nightmare and long and it will be like that in the half term holidays in may to.. I just hope chessington open the three reserve and ride queue entrances on them soon and hopefully be on the ultimate reserve and ride list soon to

Do you know if the virtual que is for the access passes to? We planning on going in July but we have Merlin access passes and not sure how it would work with virtual que.

We believe so, however not fully sure on how it works as we don’t use ride access pass ourselves!

Ride access pass works like the virtual cue. I went with my father who has the access pass and all the main rides (vampire, dragons fury) were limited to only one ride, which meant we couldn't ride twice using the pass

I wonder if they put both "spikes" of the ride close together so that in the future they could modify it into a full circuit coaster ?
