Why this Medvedev's win is presented as some kind of "massive" upset? After all he is a former number 1 player in the world. Grand Slam administrators, sponsors, Western media and even... highlight editors can't stomach the idea that Russian players are still participating in in their events let alone winning them.

I don't think it is massive but then also I don't see the media presenting this as massive tbh but maybe we see different media

Weird match? That’s what these took away from this fascinating match? And yes, please take away everything from Medvedev’s win by focusing all on Sinner not being 100% today.

Not sure how ppl can continue to say Sinner is the best player on the tour when Alcaraz has won 3 majors out of 3 finals, on 3 surfaces, beat Sinner at RG, and is still playing Wimbledon. Sinner has one GS final, winning that one in Sydney. Plus, Alcaraz has 5 1000 titles to Sinner's 2.

He has the best record this year. Alcaraz has almost twice as many losses as Sinner.

Tennis is getting longer means it's more entertainment and interesting.. grand slams are always great.. not like masters or other tournaments.. don't know how people think like this.. they knew the history..they behave like it's completely new to them.. don't make sport and business together

Sinner’s 5 set record is probably the worst one among Top 10s. He lacks physicality. Sinner would be lucky if he wins 6-7 slams in his career. Alcaraz is the true marathon guy. Sinner has just hit a lucky purple patch. You guys will say the same thing for the next 10 yrs. sinner was unwell, sinner was injured etc etc. meddy in my view killed Sinner with a physical set 1.

Sinner is cracking most often, and cannot cope with grandslam pressure. It happens in the semifinal RG (body cramped) and happens again.

Sinners Girlfriend withdrew a few days ago with stomach bug! Sinner was now ill. As some one who plays and has GORD had to retire in singles many times due to this really hurting me making me sicj and causing me to breathless then making me feel weaker!

This wasn't worth listening to - Didn't even give us information about the illness and how Jannik came back to play so well, such that one break of serve in the 5th decided it.

I really root for Sinner but I am always worried about Jannik’s physical stamina. He almost needs a perfect AO where he doesn’t lose a set with a good draw and has less court time than his final opponent Meddy. Also no tourney prior to the big event. Here he has a bizarrely difficult draw against Ben, Matteo, Meddy and has Struff, Grieks and Hubie the week before where Carlos went out early in Queens then had qualifiers and not in form Francis and good but only occasionally threatening Paul. Novak must have the money wire info of the tournament draw director, Demon and an out of form Holger’s mommy for that easy draw. Also Sinner is way too young to have a gf in his box. Now he has to worry not only about his matches but hers as well. This has to be mentally draining. He is 22 she is 26 and has dated Nick. What is next? Marriage and a kid? And finally how does Sinner go to a major without his physio in tact?!! Huh?!

Sinner was not at his best but I do agree as much as I love Sinner he isn’t quite consistently world class with his physical stamina. I agree that the injuries, cramps, exhaustion does occur quite a bit in key matches ie US open against Zverev, Indian Wells and Rome against Carlos and here. I also feel the Anna relationship is too much for a guy barely out of his teens. She is already mid twenties and dated Nick and others. I don’t know one 22 year old tennis player whom already has a gf in his player box. Usually this occurs later in their 20s into 30s. It has to be draining to worry not only about his match but now Anna’s. And Anna also looked unwell. Is it coincidental? Not sure. Also wtf Sinner’s physio wasn’t at this tournament?! Why.

Everytime Sinner starts to lose he begins to touch calves, hamstrings, he starts to limp.. its always the same story its so boring at this point. The most disgusting part is he makes sure everyone notices. The year when he won againts Carlos in Wimbledon he started to stretch calves nonstop when Carlos was playing better and then he started running last sets like he was starting a new game, he does it every single time. This year Cinci vs Carlos what happened? The same! RG vs Carlos? THE SAME! Yesterday? YOU TELL ME .. He doesnt fool me anymore since past two years.
