World Mental Health Day 2020

Hi all,
This is a very personal video that I have created in support of World Mental Health Day 2020.
I feel strongly about the subject matter and believe that by talking and sharing my feelings, it could encourage someone else to do the same.
With the current situation we are all facing, we are all experiencing uncertainty and doubt for the future and what it may hold for us. Communication and sharing I believe is what is required to get us all through this.
No one is alone, there is always help.

Thank you for sharing your journey you gorgeous human being, you and Katie. It really is very brave of you to talk about seeking help and the thoughts you were having personally. It's almost scary how one minute you can be thinking about taking a shortcut and the next everything seems to be on track. I've struggled on and off for many years with mental health issues and I don't know where I would be if I hadn't sought help. The saying "don't suffer in silence" is so true. Hopefully as a society we can end the stigma attached to mental health issues x

Thank you, I'm sorry to hear you have been dealing with things as well. I regret letting it get so bad before I reached out and admitted I had issues. The stigma behind mental health is crippling, I felt by admitting i was struggling would make me less of a man. It was a rough time but its been amazing how things have changed for the better after I opened up. I just wish more people would and we could make talking about mental health as common as talking about football 🏈😁⚽😊

@@MarkWhiteTheLarpGuide I think it takes a lot of strength to admit when you need help 😊 Yes that would be wonderful! Even better if talking about mental health replaced talking about football 😆
