Well you can blame Jeremy for that. Don't get me wrong, I've always been a fan of his journalism/presenting but in any place of employment, hitting a colleague is unacceptable. The BBC had no choice, especially given his string of warnings prior to 2015. James and Richard simply decided to follow Jeremy of their own accord.

Sure but also the UK and Ireland have the problem that they have to sell their cars in their own market. When Italy and Spain are hit, they sell their cars to Germany, the Netherlands or Sweden (if they want them). With the steering wheel on the wrong side there is no other market close by to sell it to (if you ignore a few small islands).

The CL is one of the fastest depreciating cars in the UK market. They were usually bought by people like investment bankers making 6-7 figures a year who got a new car every 3-4 years and just sold the old one for whatever they could get, but the second hand market for a two door, 2 ton MB that does 15mpg and costs 2500£ to service is very small.

@@BigUriel I can understand the whole running costs thing limiting the number of potential buyers but that applies equally to any Porsche, Aston, Ferrari, Maserati etc. and yet you don't see them on the used market for 1/5 of their new price after a few years.... Likewise the S-Class on which the CL is based, ok it does depreciate, but not like that!
