As an owner of a 2020 Fairline F/Line 33 am of the view that Fairline and Quality are not synonymous.

Yes James your excitement is justified. Its a beautiful boat, everything so well taught out. According to a mate of mine who was a sound engineer for bands; roadies can only count as far as two. So that's why you only get 1,2 ;1,2. I was at a small gig years back and the usual 1,2 was coming over the speakers, till the guy forgot himself and gave us a 1, 2 ,3. The place erupted with applause. I think he got promoted.😄

Watching this, I'm reminded of watching the old Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom with Marlin Perkins...he had a sidekick, "Jim" and watching you and Dan interact just triggered the memory. The yacht is absolutely beautiful, even if I don't like open cabin designs. I like that they didn't try to cram three cabins...for me, it's *my* yacht, not a flophouse for all my friends and family...it's my place to get away from reality and just recenter myself on the water.

What a beauty, love the lounge area and the tender garage, and balcony. The whole boat is like a polished jewel, and Fairline pull off that gloss wood better than anyone else it seems. Good speed quoted too with the 380s, I wonder what it'll do in the wild, once the engines have broken in.

You never gave the price you promised at the end? I would like to reserve my judgement until I've actually been on one. Like one of your other commentators, I would probably go for the bigger 2 heads vessel and 3 cabins. They are still stunning boats.

Hi James. Thanks for bringing us this lovely new boat before all those others...... haha! Seriously though, it's a very handsome craft with such lovely lines..... Mrs R particularly liked the pale blue and white upholstery....... anyhow, I'm pleased that the structure altering terrace is an option..... but it is a shame that V drive is not..... :( The over all impression is of a much larger boat however. Enjoy those beer halls! Kind regards S

No sorry - the Targa 40 only comes in open cockpit but there are dozens of other options . We will be sea trialling this boat in the next week or two - exciting !

They should also do a GT version as well, then you could use it in the UK.

I just hope demand for boats like these drops the price of the more traditional boats that I am after. Sea keeping, safety, accomodation and economy motivate me more but horses for courses. If neon lights, balconies and garages are your thing then this is the choice for you.

Great boat and great quality I’m sure however this will be priced at very top end of 40 ft market which means it’ll end up being too exclusive I suspect. Definitely a med boat and not uk so will be interesting if they do a GT model at some stage

Gorgeous boat James, Only Major issue for me is only one Heads, a right pita if you have guests imho, so I’d have to go up a boat size to fix that. The niggle bit is easily fixed though, and that’s the really silly idea of having a Stainless Steel Anchor and Chain. Have a Wonderful Show James and the Team, and a terrific 2024 to You All. @@darthkek1953 Stainles Steel plus Seawater = Micro Cracks that have resulted in Anchors and chains falling apart. So I stick with high test chain that has been triple galvanised and a great Anchor - agenuine Lewmar Delta nicely oversized properly hardened and Tempered plus triple galvanised as well. Oh Pretty ! Isn’t much use if your anchor falls apart under pressure . 🤔🌟🌟🌟👍❤️

We always talk about the price on all our videos but this boat is new and has different specs and prices for different markets. It would take a whole video to explain 😂 .easiest way to find out is contact your local fairline dealer (47 worldwide) and they will give you correct price. 😍

I love the glass but I'm curious how durable it is and what happens if it does get broken, cracked, chipped.

A very nice boat and a lot of space for 40ft, But tell me is this like Windy quality considering rugged driving Smashing waves on high speed? No creaking etc.? Or a boat after one year wich lost its robust "feeling" a bit more twist etc are still very robust.

@@Boatscouk Windy is very well known for its rugged built and how it drives on rough sea. So you say Fairline is even better. Thats quite amazing. I heard from a few owners they were very satisfied about those boats but this I actually didn't expect. Have a good exhibition, sales.👍
