World Elderly Abuse Awareness Day was observed under the guidance of Dr. Mayank Rahul, UHTC in-charge, and supervised by HoD and Prof. Dr. Ajit Deshpande, Department of Community Medicine, SAIMS, Indore, M.P. The event featured an impactful role play performed by interns posted in the department, highlighting various forms of elder abuse and emphasizing the importance of respect and care for the elderly. This initiative aimed to raise awareness, educate the community, and promote actions to prevent elder abuse, ensuring a safer and more supportive environment for senior citizens.
