What are you talking about? This game is still in very early development. Not much stuff to do and there are much better strategy games. After few years, when this game will be done, it might be good, but since developer is depending on community feedback I highly doubt the game will be awesome as I thought it would be.

Excellent as always Nivarias. Thank you for the in-depth explanations and also for revealing areas for updates on the next patch. I hope the developer gets the chance to see this very informative series.

After a few updates on AI and QOL I think the playthroughs will not be this short.

the reason you lost the initial battle for that region is because you weren't fighting in that region. Therefore the baron held onto his land. Works the same way if he attacks your region. If you fight him before he reaches the contested region and hold out then. You either need to fight in his region or destroy all his forces.

This is around the year my game started glitching as well, started getting crazy coin for no reason. Also all my people started complaining they had no commodities, even though they were right next to a market with fully stocked shelves! As with your game, my bread went absolutely insane for no real reason which kind of spolied the run. Something for the devs to deal with!

also orchards work the same as veg gardens. Bigger plots give a better crop. You will get some apples before the 3rd year. The 3 years is for FULL harvest.

Honestly it feels like I saw everything in these two playthroughs. I don't feel like I need to even get the game, since I've already seen it all.

About the “bad tactician” lol. You should 200% put more time into Mount and Blade Bannerlord. Otherwise, your economic and productivity experience in city builders are excellent! Love watching your style of play through. Please keep creating content.

I meant “Total war”. Bannerlord is also a very good tactician building exercise.

As a windturbine technician hearing the word windmill just triggers so much but in this case it is true lol

Nice one! Clearly this game has a long way to go. Imagine how tedious if you tried to make cities in each province. You took over the second province because of the farming potential, then never built a farm there. I mean does it want to be Age of Empires or Civilization or Total War? Time will tell.

To be fair to the developer, he made a post about this pre release of the early access. He specifically said this game was not like any of those you mentioned, and that it is primarily a medieval city builder. The combat and conflict is not the focus of the game.

So it seems extreme difficulty is mostly difficult at the start with the discontent and trying to get new people in, plus preparing for the first bandit attack. After that it plays just like a normal game.

yes they need to add more difficulties, droughts, crop disease, more fires, revolts, civil skirmishes, crime, landslides! sinkholes!, sicknesses amongst animals or villagers, lots and lots of stuff they can add to keep it interesting and tough even when you’re established!

Fun series!

If you are going to hire mercs it is best to use them as your primary force and use your own to flank and clean up. If the mercs take losses oh well but when you put your own guys in to take losses that is probably not great for morale.

Can't wait for full release for this game

The last battle was not to do with the region. The game sets a specific area where the battle is required to take place. It is usually outside the region being contested. Click the magnifying glass and it'll take you to the battle zone and show you the circle you must be in. It's basically a king of the hill.

and all the haters, they look at you playing and can make other decisoins while looking not playing^^ (other story on the streamer side of things)

Diseases could be a real good implenton to the game and a few more enemy's incouding a larger map.

You can order more than one Oxen if you trade it in te livestock market

Taxes transfered about 10% of your ecconomy into your treasury.

I've lost a battle when I should have won it, because the battle wasn't fought at the dictated battle grounds

Can you order more oxen with the livestock trader?

My game is pretty bugged, im playing on middle diff, baron took all the guys you can hire, so he has two huge armys and i got 5 reutina and my miltia, still cant win the fight lol
