That is what makes America beautiful.
Great video as always Joe, fishing has always been my love I started working a charter boat out of San Luis Obispo, California at the age of 14 and when I turned 18 I was sailing the seven seas on an aircraft carrier in the Navy, long story short I should have followed my love and passion in life, I'm disabled now and 53 no more fishing for me thank you for the experience in your videos! 👍

Old Bay Seasoning is named after the Old Bay Line, a passenger ship line that plied the waters of the Chesapeake Bay from Baltimore to Norfolk, Virginia, in the early 1900s. Old Bay was invented in 1940 by Gustav Brunn, a German Jewish refugee in Baltimore. Before immigrating to Maryland, Brunn was a successful spicemaker in Germany where he specialized in making blends for sausages. His business was booming until Hitler came to power in 1933 . I grew up in MD and we went crabbing on The Chesapeake Bay nearly every weekend during the summer months . I was told that early fishing vessels netted a lot of their catch and blue crabs were like a trash fish so they gave them away to the black people who worked on the boats or on the docks . They seasoned them heavily with Old Bay and before long blue crabs were no longer a trash fish , but rather a delicacy, and pretty soon the crab business was booming .

I’ve owned the original warthog sharpener for 15 years. It’s amazing. Got new one for the kitchen. Not as good as the original. But the newer ones might be even better now.
Awesome catch and competition. Really entertaining and fun. That huge boat was not designed for short people like Capt. Katz 😂

You should try descaling the Red snapper and deep fry it with skin on, the skin is what gives a different tastes of the fish if you dipped it with a soy sauce+vinegar.

The lack of concern for IGFA approved angling methods is very troubling to me
@joevtfishing
10 ай бұрын
This is not an igfa tournament. Almost nobody follows igfa rules for any tournament except bill fish tournaments. And even then, it’s stupid how you can’t put a rod in a rod holder for those tournaments, BUT if you sit in a chair and THEN but a ROD IN THE *CHAIRS* rod holder it’s ok. Fighting fish out of a chair is way easier than a regular rod holder.
