I find it quite entertaining that some gymnast just decided one day like: lemme just hop in this wheel rq.
This is awesome. The control of the speed when circling seems like it might be the hardest part to make look easy. Really interesting sport.
I actually REALLY like that there's no music. It's not a play. Just focusing on the skill at hand. I'd probably like other gymnastics that generally have music more without.

@@6idangle My point, is it does NOT require super human core strength, like everyone makes it out to be. You need above average core strength in most physical sports, Martial Arts probably requiring the most of all. If you pay attention to her techniques... you can see most of her moves flow with the direction of momentum. She is NOT fighting against it. She is using the momentum to her advantage, & altering her center of balance by extending her arms & legs, shifting & twisting her torso, etc., to change the movements of the ring. Building the core strength & stamina, needed for this is easy. The difficult part is coordinating your movements, while simultaneously maintaining situation awareness.

I can’t even imagine the amount of core strength this person probably has
@focusedfuture7612

The activity is difficult, but I don't think a ton of core strength would be needed. 1. She's switching positions very often, so it would take longer to get burnt out, and 2. She's pressing her feet and arms against the bar from opposite directions, meaning all the weight is getting pushed into either end of the bar. With a regular plank, for example, your core is holding your entire body up, but in this scenario, I'm pretty sure most of the weight is being held up by her feet and hands pressing against the bar, which would create enough tension to "relieve" her core of any significant work.

@@evilanno3394 I think you can either use an o with an umlaut (ö) or an oe to spell it! Same pronunciation but it's a bit easier to Anglicize the spelling with the "oe", especially when your keyboard doesn't have an ö readily available!
