This week was a special one at OSHAWA BJJ!. I was lucky enough to attend the Paulo Miyao seminar. If you guys don't know who this is, make sure you research him and his accomplishments as they are well documented.     Paulo's instructions are really good. His techniques are obviously on point but he's able to break them down very nicely which isn't always a given with top level competitors. Lots of great details in this video. Thanks for sharing!

    Heh yeh I guess people are free to do what they want and I guess it's a seminar. But really the coaches of those guys should advise their white belts that seminars won't necessarily be worth it for them to focus on.

    @@BboyCorrosive i once dropped in to one of his trainings and in 45 min he taught me basic babybolo variation … i’d say even as white belt it’s worth it

    This is the first time I've seen anyone show the 2-hook concept and rolling over the forehead if dealing with flexibility issues, can't wait to get a ton of reps in with these new details

    Quick question regarding the baby bolo technique. Does anyone know why he's not inserting the second crab hook? It's the first time I see someone teach it this way. Is it in case they defend by turning their back to the ground you end up in a bolo position?

    As he pulled the person to the side to make him sit on top of him, the right leg is already one hooks in, the left leg just use the crap hook to stretch out the leg by creating a space for the second hook. So, this technique only requires one crap hook.

    Great in Jiujitsu but in a real fight with strikes involved bad idea. A beautiful move when it is pulled off though.
