World Champion Jeffrey Herlings jumps the leap in Geldermalsen
Спорт
World Champion Jeffrey Herlings was training on the hard pack track in Geldermalsen today. Herlings jumped the big leap in the track but had to go wide open to make it! We have some really nice shots of this jump and also some nice drift shots of the current World Championship leader.

that kid on the CR85 at the end was pretty quick haha Herlings is just insane on a bike, love watching him
I think everyone that is arguing about who has better riders should just stop and agree on one thing . . . Motocross is the most physically demanding sport and amazing to watch no matter where in the world you are

Love how he corners!! Would be awesome to see him compete in a season of motocross then follow that for a season in supercross here in the USA. This dude no doubt would hold his own and make his country proud!
awesome throttle control on that slick track
sooo good at dem flat corners
Now that takes skill to take those corners that perfect every time..
His corner speed is amazing. One man dust storm.

@@seanodwyer5536in 2013 on a dirtbike?
dude can slide a dirtbike
His bike sounds like a 500cc 2 stroke when its coming towards you.
Just watched him go 1,1 at ama iron man round , he is the true world champ. Only rokzen has his speed but cant stay on, that would be good too see when he gets healthy. Shame there wasn't a once a year world mx cup, no team just under 19year 125. Mx2 mx1 individuals, hay even put them all on stock bikes and make them do there own filters lol
that bike sounds better than any 2 stroke
Does every video have to be an argument about Europe vs American riders between a bunch of guys acting like 10 year olds who need something to brag about because they haven't accomplished anything themselves they can brag about? Or are you all actually 10 years old. This dude is riding scary fast, consistently lap after lap, and the jump doesn't have enough of a lip to avoid casing the landing or hitting the face unless your pinned, in which case if your are pinned in 4th instead of 5th you still won't make it and buy yourself a trip to the emergency room likely. Honestly man, do all you guys even ride?

DrAL00isin I was just actually wondering why a rider of his caliber is riding a dust bowl?
I think he's now even fastest that Marvin and Ken ( On a motocross track, I don't know in supercross. ), can't wait to see him in the US.
agreeed
I watched the video, where is the leap?
Christ ! Is he riding on pavement ?
like a boss
Is suspension is tracking so goood.
And if u think he ain't fast on the hardpack then you are kidding yourself. ;) And thumbs up for Jimmy D, I really hope he does well in the GP's. Kid deserves a good ride.
ต้องให้แชมป์โลกเทส
and in texas they´d call it a whoop section ?
mxon 2012. lapped two of your ''best'' riders. nuff said.
Where exactly is this "leap"?
They should put some of that water that's right there in that creek on the track.
Amazingly fast and still only 18, Roczen and Musquin are winning in a totally new series now and IMO he's a better prospect, way mature for his age and probably quicker Outdoors already,
herlings was 15 when he raced against musquin and he was 16 when he raced against roczen!
wow i haven't even seen the jump yet, but he is absolutley demolishing that track..look at him rip it!
im, but have you ever seen him on a sand track?, he already destroyed reed in the motocross of nations on a 250, reed was on a 450, i think he was something like 45 seconds ahead of him
wheres the leap?
already showed that he is the best in the world championship, I wanted to see him in AMA MOTOCROSS
the bullet herlings 💪💪💪
In the US we call that a double.
this track is so hard pack its basically supermoto
Herlings looks so much faster in practice than he does in the race..
true dat
dam he cray
if you wanna be the best you have to race with the best and in my eyes he is the best in the GP's but now is time to see him go the AMA im not hating on him but just imagine him lining up in Hangtown :D
WTF.!! FTW.!! IS A MONSTER"
whats ?
Not much of a leap, but his speed and style is next level....
put the water on the track!!
Really? MXoN 2012 - MXoN 2013
that track has like 3 good jumps..its easy to be fast on a flat track
hellyeah. If I had to guess he will struggle with crashes the first races but then at least top5 or podium but the kid surprised be before
well yea but that is all speculation, nobody can really know it^^ I also hope he does some races as the GPs really have many weekends without any race so the possibiliy is there... I personally think he is on musquin level (outdoors) atm who is a bit off the pace of Roczen and Baggett but we'll see :D (also curious of how Osbourne will do)
Last year he smashed the usa in a ama motocross race!

True, but he still has lost more than he has won in the u.s. Either way,he is an incredible rider. Maybe the fastest ever.
Jeffrey Herlings 84 🇱🇺 the bullet mantapPpPp 👍🇲🇨
And then they say to me im crazy
Haha, you have just confirmed how little you know, because they aren't!! The 125 class was MX3 then. Emmm, you not heard of stefan everts then, i could name more that returned.

I guess this is MASSIVE for people in europe
@thejourneyretold
9 жыл бұрын
That's by no means massive in Europe. Its just hard to get over because of the gap and shape of the almost non-existant jump face. Mad respect for hitting anything PINNED in 5th...
If you eat it on that track going that fast , your going to be a mess ! Bike control , braking and throttle are his best assets
He just might be the fastest rider ever
Laroccos leap > single to case
Много выигрывает на правильном торможении. Орёл!
except they dont train on those tracks they race them once a year unless they live by it then they train all year there like the cali guys stay in cali to train , tx guys stay in tx to train and so on
Wilson? Pourcel? Roczen is about to and maybe even Musquin....
Of course, as he does not have to walk in front of guys who trained his whole life on those tracks,
ค่ายKTM
Those are some sketchy acceleration bumps wtf lmao
he lapped them once ... at his hometown track... and just because of that what makes you Barcia wouldn't go for it? or bagget? I f he is so good why doesn't he just come here and settle the dispute?
Holy crap put some water down
Fast
Haha this guy lapped Barcia and Baggett at his home track. Anywhere else we beat this guy.
Ik sta op 2:57 op het filmpje #JHERLING84

Think im fed up educating you, have a nice day.
Je ben goed ik ben wesley ik rij ook moter
This whole track is one giant whoop pad... lol.
maybe because it was their first full season over there, its totally different over there.. kenny beat the shit out of ANY 250 rider at the mxon races where he's used to the tracks and baggett struggles to get top 15 while ken fights for a podium...
@Donny Groothedde Do you know anything about world motocross? The American guys beat you almost every year.

Say what?? And yet again world champion. Glenn helen 2 times first. On your soil
I can't believe he's pushing that hard around a bunch of amateurs, and some kid on an 80? I would never trust other riders like that to know how not to get in my way or not do something stupid and pull out in front of me or something. But great control on a very hard packed track.
@seanodwyer5536

that fear is validated in 2017 MXDN with the attack on Jason Anderson after the checker flag after Anderson beat him there is no reason other than assault with a deadly weapon
Im from America and I want him to come here and mix it up with the ama!
Looks like bad place to drop yur pocket. But hey, no1 said going fast felt good
This guys laps barcia and bagget when they are on 450's, so yes its a double that they couldn't do...
relax
that track might as well be pavement, fuck that
Thank you God for giving us Americans dirt. Not pavement, but actually dirt. Also lord, for not giving us as many acceleration bumps.
Dusty ass track, that ain't no leap that's more of a single with a flat landing.
@alistairkirk6360

747killa like to see you jump that "single"
They would easily do so if they trained in europe
Mxon doesn't count. Unless you put them on the same track for a series you can't compared
And after that baggett got LAPPED by Herlings (and allot of other GP riders) at Lommel. Times change riders evolve, we'd have to have an AMA season with Herlings to see how he would do. Anything else up to then is pulling shit out of your ass. But we won;t forget the LAPPED part...ever. :D
To everyone saying that Europeans are better than Americans, Why do you never hear of a failing European coming to America to race? But you hear the opposite all the time?

+FastTV 1 year late. Winning the overall in his second race isn't really a failure.
@anthonysiracuse1344

+FastTV I think you need to learn more about the dynamics of why he left. He was done racing. The only way to get out of his contract was to go racing Europe. He didn't want it. If it was a fully charged Villipoto, I'm sure we would have seen a much different outcome. He was done with his racing, he wanted to retire. Going to Europe was the only way out.
he looks fast on that FLAT track but I don't think he can handle the AMA tracks. the U.S. guys would eat him up.
lol u can't off rode many practice tracks in europe then..
they should just lay some tarmac down, it would be softer to crash on haha
Amazing corner speed, but why risk his health riding on such a crap track
if he race SX ,/MX in USA no match, ill go with 2mac or mozquin
Riding on these types of tracks is why Europe kicks USA's ass these days in motocross. If that track was in USA, it would be groomed, watered and coverd in woodchips so all the poser-ass guys could "shred", throw mean scrubs and take instabangers. It might be siiiiick bro, but it's not going to make you good. Any pro can go fast on your average so-cal tracks.
@Klockren9000

@Cha Man You need to be able to ride all conditions in MX not just mint condition cake tracks
USA UUNNH I thought China
I'm the fastest man in the world .. . I can ride on half a wheel . ..
He would be demolished in the US
lol if rv2, blake bagget or eli tomac, and ryan dungey are healthy through motocross then every nation is going to get humiliated
Ummm leap? All I saw was a shity track with a few rollers lol.
and he was casing the single to flat that europeans calls it big leap lol
They call this a leap? Come to Redbud and hit the real leap
and if it were the other way around , take bagget and tomac over to his tracks and they would get their ass handed to them . and not to put it on a different toll but uhh who is getting their ass handed this year ? roczen is in the points lead and marvin is 6 points from getting it. your boy baggett hasnt even finished in the top 3 this year and tomac lost his points lead to roczen sooo ? your argument sucks
European champions Cairoli and Herlings should come over to the U.S. and lose some of their arrogance...
whatever europe or america this guy is over the lot in the world championship he should now be competing with in the ama with the big guys and not do another pointless year in 250 in europe
a lot of amateurs faster than Jeffrey Herlings? that's just plain stupid.
