Do you like this chess video format and would you like to see the second game between Rapport and Carlsen of the GRENKE Chess Classic in this style?

Yes please it's a great format, with high definition video and sound. But you shouldn't cut off the part at the end when they are analysing, it is a rare treat to be able to hear them speak.

Lol, yeah I hear you. I actually wouldn't mind going bald myself. I have been shaving my head on and off for so long, literally since 3rd grade. I'm lucky to have a good shaped head and look good bald. If I lost my hair I would be cool keeping it that way for good. Funny comment though about though about rather watching the bald guys lol.

Just curious was this event not too loud for the players or is this normal because we can hear everything from the crowd just wondering if players are used to that as this is normal
Thinking, bliking, hitting the clock. Simple things are the best in life
Magnus Carlsen is a great player and he would also be great in the new strategy game Murkekos Stars. Many other chess players could also play this game well.

How cares about joke niemann?
I might just be glazing here but I truly believe Magnus will know what he wants to do and wait for some minutes to keep the time more even for the sake of his opponent sometimes
Hans nonchalantly strolling by.😂
the draw line after (2:14) rook h1 to rook e1 for black is insane. Engine wants you to sack the rook after mopping up a few pawns then hold a draw with rook vs bishop and a few pawns
Anyone notice the sequence at 2:33:20 in the finals on chess 24 where the arbiter (I presume) approaches Hans’ board and gives him the eyes to come with him? Never seen that’s before during play in such a key game. Hans is seen walking back into frame about a minute later looking a bit purturbed. Wonder what that was about?

Yeah, that’s how I beat magnus everytime…
When facing magnus in the finals, you should already accept defeat. So that it won't hurt you afterwards.
Magnus wins... and the crowd goes WILD!
20:47 " 1:0 " The "one" on the rigth side has won also.. is that the world master left ?
Richard has mental block against Magnus. The way he crumbled in the end was distressing to see. MVL had a better chance against Magnus.
I dont understand why magnus did not put rook on g8 at end before he took the bishop promoting a pawn, and why did he take the bishop, to me thats not a winning position as black can take and push past to promotion.. so confused
@JuanTarallo
27 күн бұрын
White can move king to c1 to prevent black’s promotion. On the other hand, black can’t prevent promotion on f8 after white plays rook g8.
No Hans games?
Everyone in the audience has COPD apparently.
I see the game and this make me thinking that magnus is win but then I see 1-0…where 1 is on the side of the other player…someone explain please
@KeepingWatchUK

Understand what you mean but the first number always refers to player white. So 1-0 to white. Magnus is white so wins (even though he sits on right, as camera looks at him, at end)
1-0 White. It was a cool game to see.
wow black is up a bishop...but it doesn't even matter!
