Funny how at Buddy's memorial the big-name rock drummers who played his tunes with his band including this song came NO WHERE near the finesse that Buddy played.

2 of my friends were in this killer band a long time- Steve Marcus and Andy Fusco With all the Buddy stories around all mostly true their fascination for his genius never got old

It’s funny, how very rich in my opinion was the greatest order artist with his drum set better than anyone playing the drums, and no one can even touch him, not taking anything away from the artist of the day, such as Lady Gaga, which is a beautiful singer, she has millions of dollarsin buddy, I don’t think had $3 million in his whole lifetime but yet everywhere he went everybody knew he was the best that ever played the instrument

There is zero correlation between earning mountains of money and talent. Sadly pop music rewards many with little talent.

That maybe true but at least they are keeping the music alive!

No matter what kind of drums you play, here are the greatest hands that could ever be. No top Felts on the cymbals, and yet, no matter how intense things get they're never flopping around out of control also, notice how all of his choices Come From Within the Music.... that's really the important bit.

Wow a great song. That band is so tight! The trumpets, trombones and sales play like one instrument hitting the note perfect timing through rapid passages. Top quality playing all around. Buddy was not only fantastic on drums, he got great performance out of his players.

Earning a lot of money doesn’t equate to talent in the music industry. I don’t care how many millions and millions Taylor Swift has earned so I think she just thinks the people pay a lot of money to see her.

Taylor Swift is a great musician and performer. You may not agree, but the place to say so is where it is relevant. I am in my mid-70s, by the way. Unlike so many if my embarrassing contemporaries, I don't imagine, or claim, that brains were abolished the moment after I was born. Times change. Get that?

I listen to real musicians I brought up here to draw a distinction between true pure musicianship and “entertainment “ Change is good but not in the absence of core skills. All the great lighting, great videos, multiple camera shots, and much pre-recorded music cut it for me

I listen to real musicians I brought up her name to draw a distinction between true pure musicianship and “entertainment “ I like junk food but I won’t declare it to be great food. I just like it All the great lighting, great videos, multiple camera shots, and much pre-recorded music do not cut it for me
