Works Bell SRD Kit FK8 10th Gen GTC Tilt Short Boss and Spoon Sports Steering Wheel Install Guide

Hello guys! This is my commentary video walkthrough of me installing this steering wheel kit in my 2020 Honda Civic Type R. Should also work on any 10th Gen. The install consists of the following items:
Works Bell SRD Kit FK8
Works Bell Short Boss 226S
Works Bell GTC Tilt and
Spoon Sports Steering Wheel
**Video correction, the column adjustment still works, just pull down the angle of the steering wheel and it won’t rub at all with the short boss. See my IG highlight!**
I noticed there is no install video guide of this kit on KZread and I only know 3 others on Instagram that has installed this successfully.
My recommendation is to watch my video without skipping prior to your install. I have some subtitles entered but I also have commentary that’s too long to fit on the subtitle line.
The whole install should take you about 1-2 hours depending on your skill level however I really think you should really take your time and don’t break anything.
Figuring out this wiring and install process took me about 6-8 hours for this guide. Includes me troubleshooting and figuring out issues so you don’t have to deal with it. Special thanks goes out to IG: DadeCountyFK8 and Kodawari.FK8 for answering some wiring issues I had during the install.

You mentioned it works with quick release, which adapter and brand would you recommend? I’m looking for those types that DING as well when you put on the wheel 🙌🏼

The “ding” is from the NRG quick release. You’ll need to take off some plastic from the quick release to ding.
does the relocation kit only work with the tilt or would it work the same for a quick release

Works for both the quick release and tilt.
Since the standard kit is now discontinued is the short SRD kit too short? I was going to get the standard and run it like how the spoon fk8 is with just a hub with no quick release or tilt but not sure if short is too short where when I turn the wheel my knuckles will be hitting the wiper/turn signal stocks.

I pieced everything separately. With just the hub, the steering wheel feels too close but then again, you can use the telescopic feature and push it out more to avoid hitting the windshield washer switches.

Correct. You can bolt a steering wheel instead of the tilt kit.

No, they come with the Works Bell.
what phone mount is that on your passenger side
