WorkLife with Adam Grant and Malcolm Gladwell, A Live TED Podcast Taping

Adam Grant and Malcolm Gladwell, the two bestselling authors and podcast hosts, have a wide-ranging conversation about work, spanning questions of how to deal with narcissism at work, what it takes to build effective teams and strong relationships, and why we’re so often wrong about our colleagues’ personalities (and our own).

Great. Great. This is the kind of discourse society needs to continue and promote.

They should start podcast together. I've been following both but Adam seems out of touch with real world when it comes to running a business looking at the ideas he puts out on LinkedIn. Perhaps because he is a teacher.

I think the thing that Malcolm is missing is that when it comes to comedians, the "deep insight" into human behavior has little to do with the audience at the comedy clubs.....it has waaaay more to do with the writing of the material in the first place. Smart, funny comics are astute observers of human behavior and the things that we all experience every day. Brilliant comics can not only observe and make sense of the behavior but can communicate in a funny way. And that is not easy AT ALL

Great interview. Enjoyed it a lot. BTW, Donal Trump telegraphs his cons and then commits them.

After watching Malcolm "debate" Matt Taibi and Douglas Murray... he is an adolescent when it comes to his ability to formulate intricate thoughts and rebuttals in context with those who disagree with him. I recommend watching that if you find this man intelligent.

Are you kidding! I have so many tainted victory awards in plastic tubs. I won't even go to qualifying races if I only qualified because I was the only one in my age group. No joy there.

Malcolm Gladwell isn't wrong often but the idea that sadness has to be specific to be powerful is pretty weird. Country music remains ass.

I can't take Malcolm's flip attitude about being wrong in the past. Why should we listen to anything you say now if everything you said before turned out to be wrong?
