Working With Fae

So here's more information about the fae, where I think some of the stories and superstitions about working with them comes from. In order for us to understand what the fae are we need to be stop depending on the skewed perspective of superstitious people and remain open-minded and non-judgmental in order to forge new, more productive relationships with these beings. Feel free to ask questions, share more superstitions about their nature that I don't mention and start a conversation. This is the most sincere and levelheaded take on the Fae I have ever seen. A lot of people want to act as an authority on the Fae and as if everyone else is wrong, meanwhile they only ever read about them and wouldn't dream of interacting with one. I like how you acknowledge that the folklore has been severely warped by the christianization of Europe. You don't go to either extreme, saying they're totally harmless or totally dangerous and I appreciate that a lot. Honestly everyone is going to see the fae through their own personal filter but I've had the best experiences when instead of listening to what other humans say I actually went out and had experiences and let the spirits and fae teach me about themselves. Also I've said "thank you" before and nothing happened! Imagine that!

You clearly know exactly what you are talking about. I have begun having experiences with fae. They started by coming into my dreams and meditations. Your experiences and thoughts are extremely helpful for me. My intuition about the “don’t eat their food or you can’t get out” thing is that it’s about magic mushrooms / psychedelics. Which would make a lot of sense if you think about it. They steal shit from me for sure. But they do give it back. They’re usually trying to get my attention when it happens.

The notion of the magic mushrooms might have some merit. I think it also relates to the idea that accepting anything from what the people thought were demons is a factor and then, of course, there's Persephone eating some pomegranate seeds in Hades and being forced to stay there for 6 or 9 months (depending on the version of the myth) so there is a historic foundation in other cultures of the restriction about eating food whilst in another realm.

I have just received a gift from the Fae. It hasn’t been the first time I have lots of experiences with them. But this was the most obvious gift I have ever gotten. (I found two acorns in my offering bowl today) I did leave them a gift as a thank you. I hope they like it because it was such a wonderful surprise that I needed to see. As it’s been a hard time for me recently, it really felt like a gift of support.

I welcome them all the time. So far, I've seen two bright yellow balls of light outside my windows. Once out the window looking out into my back yard. It danced across the air and then moved up and down. And recently I saw the same thing outside my window looking out to the front yard. I have never seen anything like that before. I love this. Thank you. I just moved into a new house in Los Angeles, and its one of the rare ones with a beautiful almost wooded back yard. I have been thinking about what to do to make offerings to whomever might be connected to the land there, fae, spirits, elementals etc, and so seeing that you were talking about the fae today was an exciting thing. I had reached out to the beings and spirits after i saw the place because I fell in love with it, and even though there were many applicants who were far more financially secure than I was, somehow the landlord chose me. I am excited to show my gratitude to those who I know I owe it to. Which now includes you!

This world is not a dualism between angels and demons. Yes there is good and bad, but for the most part it seems to be just nature. Most beings aren't evil or good, but self interested. I see a lot of spiritual beings like wildlife. They can be dangerous but probably not evil for the most part

  • @siofrasmagicalcove7293

    @siofrasmagicalcove7293

In my experience the only true evil is from humans because I agree with you...nature is neither good nor bad, it's just a matter of perspective. If you're a planet and you need to cool off then a hurricane is good, if you're a person in the path of the hurricane and it floods your house and takes away your land then it's bad. Nature is not gentle, kind and loving, it is raw and unfiltered and wild and I think humans have a tendency to project the first onto nature (when it's in its calm and ideal to us state) and ignore the latter (often to our detriment...like petting a bison in a park and being surprised when it flips us over its back).

Thank you so very much for this beautiful video. I am so grateful I was divinely guided to it! I had my first experience with the fae last night and it was so magical. Then I went to read up on how to work with them and I came across all of the fear mongering so called rules and I realized I had broken one - thanking them - but I knew the entire experience was beautiful intuitively and I decided that there’s no way this rule could override my experience… then I found this video and it all makes sense now. It makes sense that a lot of the misinformation stems from Christianity and that a simple thank you wouldn’t automatically mean I disrespected them or that I owe a debt. After all, as you said, they’re able to read our energy and intent and I was so very grateful for their presence so I know they felt it too. I look up to you and your level of experience / knowledge and I love that you are sharing it with all of us via this modern platform. hi Siofra, thank you so much for the video and all the wonderful information you shared with all of us. for the longest time since the beginning of my journey, around ten years ago, I have felt very called to work with the fae and have had many experiences with them, some even from when I was a child, that my parents have told me about. as an adult I have always had my reservations with them because of all the stories people tell. I kept feeling like I wasn't "ready" to take on the responsibility of inviting energy I didn't know into my space/home/craft, since there are so many different opinions about the fae, but I guess that's just a risk we all have to take when working with any kind of energy, not just them. this video has truly inspired me to seek that connection more (that I have already started nurturing by doing some gardening and cleaning around a bit where I live since I live in the Italian countryside) so thank you so much. I would be thrilled if you shared more about your experience with this mysterious fae or at least what they were like, and any other of your stories with them. sending you and Ian all the love and blessings!

I just recently found this channel by my interest of Fae, and knowing the self. Been on a serious magical/spiritual path for 6+ years still developing, but lately I have been able to speak with some Fae/sense them more. In my house I often see glitter sparkling around my altar desk and other random places. Color like orbs shooting from place to another out of thing air. A few years ago with my sister, boyfriend and a friend of mine travelled to a park located in another province in my country where Fae festivals are held yearly. Though we did not go on that specific day, we wanted to go and train our senses, find a connection with the Fae. We saw at night little gnome shadows, multiple of them, shooting running left to right. It was so vivid little humans, but they were shadowy. It was one of my more vivid experiences with them there. Also a tree which did not stand on its usual spot, we sensed a Troll there living in the park, sometimes moving around and camouflaging as a tree not to be seen. I hope to work and communicate with more Fae and learn from them! The world is full of fascination. Thank you so much for making these videos. It's the first time I listen about Fae and not having the usual stigmas around them. I really like hearing these experiences with such free mind.

The discussion was strange and incomprehensible, like two quarreling squirrels :D from a Disney cartoon she threw the twigs out the window and the discussion ended I wonder what it could have been? The spirits of dead people would speak an understandable language and if grandma had something wrong with her head and the voices were only in her head, they wouldn't stop after throwing the twigs out the window

What I'm thinking of in particular is the yokai. It seems like we can get a lot of adjacent information from resources discussing yokai, but I'm positive those are very closely guarded, sacred secrets. Which I completely understand. But I do wonder how many resources there actually are out there, but you'd need to be an acolyte of some kind to even know it exists 🤔 The best we can do here is just accept them as they are, and take care of your own environment the best you can to give them the best place possible to live

I personally think they're an offshoot of humans. They're related to us in a similar way other homanids are, but they were able to become more magickal and exist in a semi physical way, or some overlapping reality. I think they found a good part of reality to occupy.

From a metaphysical point of view the fae are definitely not related to us humans. Humans have 5 elements that compose our being (earth, air, fire, water and spirit). Other physical and spirit life does not contain the fifth element of spirit. That doesn't mean there might not be some physical relationship (though they are no longer occupying our physical reality there are indications that they once did).

My grandmother who was very poor said she was giving me something that was very valuable.I often thought on this and thought she assigned some type of protection. There's been so many times I've had close calls but miraculously survived. She did heal me once with a spell that I had to perform.🤔

Spending time out doors sitting in nature, looking at the trees, plants, animals, sky and softening your gaze (let your eyes become unfocused). Put out sparkling objects (marbles, crystals, stones). Get a nice garden statue and make a special area just for them. Periodically leave them a bowl of rice and milk with honey. Be patient.

They are basically the same. Fae is a word that encompasses more than the standard imagery of tinker bell type fairies.

Paracelsus was supposed to be a Christian. He was also a physician and an alchemist. I had to look this up to refresh my memory but he used the latin word Gnomus, a synonym of pygmaeus. In order to put a name to a race of small people. I believe he explained that God created these nature spirits in order to protect and remind us to be respectful of nature. It's been awhile since I read about this so I could be mixing up other people's opinions in that research. That person should do some more research instead of having that one track mind. Fear is a helluva emotion. Easier to manipulate the mind when in that state I guess.

Christianity reached back in time to explain all that came before them so every being would have its place in their mythological creation of good and evil. It's ironic that they use this as evidence when arguing about their knowledge of the supernatural and otherworldly beings. And yes, it is much easier to keep people in line if they are afraid and think you are their only safe place.

I’m hooked to knowledge of Fae recently. The place I live has a big lake and a lot of trees and grass; hence, I feel like Fae might prefer to settle down for a while. I would like to show them my respect but I have no idea what type of Fae I might encounter. I am just a normal human being trying to make peace with all creatures. I haven’t given any offer yet because I’m unsure about type of Fae and their personality. Can you give me any advice? Thank you!

All of them like pretty stones and crystals in my experience. And they will hear what you say if you speak to them and just let them know who you and that you want to show them respect. If you suddenly smell mint they are near.

@@siofrasmagicalcove7293 Update 1: 2 Canadian geese came to visit me yesterday and I fed them some frozen corns. Some ducks ate those corns too. Today I found 3 duck feathers on the grass and my gut feeling told me to keep it. Never have I ever saw geese and ducks so close to my backyard digging into grass eating insects. So far I haven’t received a written response from Fae and they haven’t showed up in my dreams. I’m aware you can request a friendship but you cannot force one. Thus, I’ll just be patient and waiting for a clearer sign.

Sounds like a definite connection. Since fae are all about the natural world all living things as well as the mineral kingdom (in other worlds, all of reality) the way they communicate is not going to be through the written word but through the language of the universe. Sounds like you have started a conversation and yes, I am sure the feathers were meant for you. And yes, you can't force a friendship but remember to not be so human-centric. It's a different world and a different language and a different kind of relationship.
