Hi, thanks for the informative video. Does anyone know if it would be possible to control a fog machine with two remote controls, so that you can operate the machine from two different locations? Or are there any potential interference issues? Thank you.

I think I know why you have an issue using the remote for two fixtures. It has to do with the signal reaching both unit at exactly the same time. Remotes like that send the signal in a fast pulsing pattern, and when you are trying to run two units, the first one may get the pulse on the up swing, but the second gets it on the down swing. It's like when you pair something with Bluetooth. I have two speakers I use for ceremonies, but you can only "pair" your device to one of them at a time. So then I have to run a cable to the other speaker. The remotes are trying to send the signal to one device, but you are asking it to split the signal to two units. It's hard to get the signal to reach the units at exactly the same time. . The reason it doesn't work the first time on the bursts when running in Master/Slave mode is the first unit has an auto detect feature that when you press the remote the first time, it says,"Hey, wait, I have another unit attached to me." So the next time you press it, it knows to send the signal through the DMX cable to the second unit.On most ADJ fixtures, you have to tell it to run in Master/Slave mode.. With these, it has to figure it out on it's own after you hit the trigger.

Hello, I bought 2 fog fury jett and I would like to operate as master / slave, I downloaded a pdf on the internet where it is possible. On the records of my machines there is no master slave section and if I try it does not work. What are the parameters to make them operate as master slave and control 1 single machine with its remote control. Thank you

I emailed ADJ to try and figure this out and their reply was: "Unfortunately there is no master/slave with these units." You can use a single remote for both, but there is going to be a time delay. I am looking at DMX controllers to see it one would allow them both to be run simultaneously.

hey Brian, i just picked up a pair of these. I've tried to master slave the two as you did in the vid but I'm still noticing some lag. Also if I use the random color setting for one of my presets, the units flows through different colors at different times. I hope I can get the units to work as one without a dmx controler, as I chose the adj over the chauvet geysers for this reason.
