Working out order from rate tables (more difficult example)
This tough nut to crack involves a rate table where concentration of reactants change on more than one reagent making it less obvious what effect that reagent has on rate. Take a look at this video to find out what I mean exactly. Hope this method will help!

Brilliantly explained. I shall use your "interim rate" technique and dividing the two numbers from now. That makes it much easier.

Brilliant. Yes, this is the toughest type you will get so I'm pleased you have understood it.
Thanks for the clear explanation Chris! I find rate tables a breeze now! It would be awesome to see more videos on difficult questions like these in the future.

+Taras Mogetich Thanks very much. Yes I am looking to balance standard demand content with high demand to appeal to a wider audience. Keep up to date by following me on twitter @allerytutors
You are my bloody saviour, literally racking my brain with this for no reason.
Do you have a playlist of all the "toughest" possible types of questions/topics we could be given? If not, can you do it please for the students who aim for A/A*s thank you.
Thank you so much, you deserve way more recognition for these videos
These 'interims' might have saved my whole A level. Thank you so much- the explanation was both detailed and easy to follow!

This is amazing! The interim rate is a massive help!! Thank you so much
Thank you so much, I wasn’t here for my chemistry lesson when my teacher went over this so I didn’t get it but now I do. May God bless your soul!!
Legend. Less than two days before the exam I finally understand how to do problems like these. THankyou!
I just encountered a question similar to this. Thank you so much for your videos, without them we would be lost.
Thank you so so much sir !! This is a concept I struggled with a lot and it stressed me out but your videos have been extremely helpful. Thank you sooo much :)

AWESOME! question @6:28 , when he says find the DIFFERENCE between interim and intitial, is that intended to be the QUOTIENT? also is it always the larger quotient to smaller? or interim quotient to initial? THANK YOU!
God bless you for this. You've really helped me. 🙌

Is there a video were you talk about half life? and I will deffo be looking forward to the Arrhenius equation vid! Will you be uploading it any time soon? I'm asking because I have a test on Wednesday and I'm struggling with it. Thank you so much for this!!

Hi. I don't have anything on half life directly so it will now go on my to do list. It may be difficult to get it done by Wednesday as I am working so much lately. If you have something specific just get in touch via facebook or twitter - search @allerytutors and send a private message. Would be good to help you understand better.

Amazing!
Hi there, wouldn't C be First order as you have divided by 2.3 on both sides so wouldn't it be first order?
Could someone explain how a reactant can be zero order? Like surely at some point the concentration has to have some effect?
what if the rate is the same for both a and b....what would the interim rate be then?
when u found for c y didnt u use interm rate?
5:22 what would we do if B was 2nd order instead of 1st order??
what happens if say (A) is divided by 2 but the rate is times 2 then would this cancel to 0 order?
thank you ever so much
what if the order of B was 2 instead? would we multiply the factor by 2 for interim rate?
thanks a million.
This may be a silly question but what if the numbers in the table haven’t quite doubled but are close enough? Would you still round it and say “yeah that’s doubled” ?
THANK YOU THANK YOU
