Good info for teachers who are learning how to manage distance learning. Adding a couple shots showing how to switch back and forth from your internal camera to your document camera would be helpful for teachers that are not that comfortable with technology.

Good helpful video. FYI, another cheaper idea is to use a broken arm from a retractable desk lamp which I happened to have done (made a video of that as well.)

Can you do this while projecting on screen for in-class students to view as well? Meaning, I need my Zoom students to see what I am doing under the document camera AND my in-class students to see it as well.

How would you zoom in and zoom out? I press the buttons but it doesn’t seem to do either..

I think this is a good idea. I am remote teaching from home because all the schools are closed. I communicate with students using Zoom and a Macbook Air. I think I might buy one of these epson doc cameras -- wish they weren't so expensive! How about it Epson? Can you increase production and hold a sale ? I don't need a lot of bells and whistles, I need something easy to use and affordable.

How do you switch back and forth from the PC to the document camera? I couldn't figure it out when I was teaching my kiddos and just had to unplug my document camera so I wouldn't lose their focus. I know you said it was easy but I couldn't quite catch how you did it. Thank you!

When you are in a Zoom session, click on the up arrow (^) next to the video button in the lower left hand corner. There you will see all of the connected cameras and select the camera you want to use.

okay but im wondering how the document appear can learners really see the paper very well

My MacBook Pro does not have a cd Rom. Do I need a CD Rom to use the DC-21?

Our document cameras come with a variety of connectivity options like HDMI, VGA, and USB making it easy to connect your device and share content.

Can you do the same with the Epson DC10 document camera?

There's no USB connection. I was going to ask the same thing. I got a USB converter but it only goes from USB to VGA so it didn't work :-(

Yes but there is an “s video” port. I wonder if I get an “s video-usb” cable will that work?

I tried to do this but when I tried to record my Zoom meeting it reversed the image I was trying to share. Do you know why this happened or how I can fix it?

In Zoom's video settings, there is a checkbox for "Mirror my video".. make sure that box is UN-checked and you'll be good to go!
