How do you tighten the belt? Can you tighten the belt or does it need to be replaced if I want the fan a little stronger.

Very interesting Adam do these actually work blowing cool air? Or is that what they don't do? Looks a small size motor for the size of the fan. Tony

It blows cooler air then the outside, it depends on how cool the water in it stays and stuff like that but is a big step up from just blowing hot air around

Adam... I have one of these and the motor gets too hot to the touch and shuts off... do you think my motor is bad. I put a new capacitor on it and it did not fix it.

@@smalltownmachineshop6860 Not it just gets extremelt hot after running for 1-2 mins, no noise... then it will cool down and kick back on. I replaced the capacitor. I was thinking about rewinding the motor or just buying a new one and being done with it

@@darrenberg4042 yeah, it’s a multi speed motor so if you can rewind it yourself I would do that as a off the shelf motor would be expensive, or honestly you could just put a single speed motor on it if you mostly just use it on high all the time
