1/3 members retires every second year. But remember Rajya Sabha is a permanent house, it can not be dissolved like Lok Sabha

Rajya sabha - at present 245(233+12,those 12 members are choosen by the president on the basis of there art , knowledge,social service) but total limit of members is 250 Lok sabha - at present 543 members +2 anglo indians

It is socially and educationally backward classes Not socially and economically backward classes 😊
