Ultra realistic mod: Coffee Addict Small coffee meter in the HUD that fills when farmer stops to drink coffee. Falling below 50% coffee level starts to decrease productivity and makes tractor controls less responsive. 0% coffee makes you sleep to the next day and wake up next to the coffee pot at the house.

Hello you may consider Rain Pain and the GPS mod they are great for realism. You could also consider expandable pastures (+ realistic grazing) to convert your grass fields into pastures.

The cat is totally realistic, no immersion problem. When I was growing up, we had a working cat that loved to ride in the tractor. He'd lay there on the side, admiring the view and commenting loudly if the driving was too shaky :)

Having no stars in the night sky is annoying now that you've pointed that out, but I always got irritated about it being almost pitch black out by 8:00 PM regardless of the month. It doesn't seem all that difficult to add in a starry skybox given the number of sky maps available or to adjust the length of a day depending on the area the map is set in and the time of year.

I do, too. I don't watch every single episode of every single series, but his simulator series for 19 is what encouraged me to get that game and invest a lot of time into it. I am glad I got it. It is exactly the type of game I need to play once in a while to just chill out and marvel at my progress. I have recreated his "No Man's Land" situation, though I am not going to do exactly what he did. I started off the same way with no money and just the little Massey Ferguson tractor. I haven't played it much, but I've already bought two new tractors, the 4WD version of the Fiat he bought in that series, and a bigger John Deere. FS19 no longer accepts third party mods, so I couldn't get that cheap combine he did in that series, so I had to save up for a $9000 one which I think is also a John Deere. I am still on the original plot of land, and have three decent sized fields on it. I am thinking that over time I will build up a town there on some of the plots so I can make productions. Trying to think of a way to build it up where it makes sense. Like perhaps a large BGE (Bio gas) company moves in due to the abundant natural resources. I could then purchase another field for myself to just be a grass farm at first. A while back it sounded like to me that Dagger was not "feeling" the game anymore. He was just pushing things out to push them out. The level of care sort of dropped. I didn't hear this time that people have mentioned about a week ago where he sounded down and before his break, but I am glad he took it. He's been making so much content for a very long time and I know that even when you love something, it can be a drag on you at times. I will never fault anyone for taking a break when they need it.

Hey Daggerwin! (I'm going to start every comment on each video with that, if I do leave one!) Very happy to see Mud System and Manual Attach. You mentioned a mod to prevent drilling etc. in the rain - there's one that doesn't *prevent* it, but it does heavily incentivise not using cultivators, seeders, planters, weeders, planters, and most other implements during the rain or in snow. If you do, they take increase wear, so you spend more $$ repairing in exchange for saving time. This is by far my favourite series of yours, so if we will be getting 2 eps a week, I am very happy (even if it means losing an episode of something else for your life balance). Slower gameplay and learning new mods... we've all been there and I think in many cases, prefer it. Take your time and enjoy it, don't rush things, and remember first and foremost it's a game for relaxation. If you're enjoying yourself, we will enjoy the videos! Cheers :) looking forward to next ep!!

Rain Pain also punishes harvesting immediately after rain! You need to wait a number of in-game hours equal to the number of days per month before you start harvesting, or you take a hit to your yield. Represents the crop drying out after rain!

My family is a breed of animal nuts, so I have had many best friends in my life of canine and feline varieties. I like them both, but I have to say that I am more of a dog person myself. My sister had one Siamese cat with a very interesting personality though, he seemed more like a dog than a cat. He loved people and whenever I would come over to visit he would come running over, wait for a couple of pets on the head, then he'd plop down and roll over on his back to get his belly rubbed which he loved. He would never attack your hand like most every other cat I've ever met. Then after a while he'd crawl up into your lap and just stay with you.

Anyone other than me foresee crop destruction when he goes to harvest. He is going to have to drive into the field to put the header on the combine. As for the stones pick them up and sell them. Rolling will not push them back down since you plowed. Some of the stones are too large to be pushed back into the ground.

Like that you are trying the realistic series! Content Creators shoud not have to be able to do everything- right away, they also learn. Which is fun to watch! I have played with a lot of realistic mods, but not all fit the 'limited time' situation i'm having. About Enhanced Animal System and the 'Allow overcrowding' or not..... If you set it to no, the surplus is sold automatically (the babies, so low income). If you allow overcrowding (yes), the amount of animals will get more than the pen can handle. You have to move them to another pen or sell them (advice: the older ones). If not, they won't have enough food etc and will get less healthy and produce less. Or die, even. It is a challenge to play with 'Yes' for sure!!

Enjoying this playthrough, and the whole idea of eliminating shortcuts for realism. I'm hoping that you will begin putting all the equipment away at the end of the day, and closing all the shed doors and gates. That's realistic, right? I don't think I would leave a shed door open overnight in real life if I was a farmer. I'm a big fan of the grass rollers in this game, especially since your primary grass field slopes down to a lake, where fertilizer runoff would hurt the water quality and cause algae blooms, but unfortunately they don't work with Precision Farming. I'm glad that you enabled "Beware of Straw" as that's one of my favorite "realism" mods. One additional mod I'd recommend is "Advanced Maintenance." It isn't terribly "advanced," though. All it does is make your vehicles stall occasionally if they need maintenance (below 50% condition). If the vehicle reaches 0%, it won't start and you have to tow it. I feel like this should have been in the base game, because there really isn't much incentive in the game to keep your vehicles maintained; to me this is more like a "fix" than a realism mod, but it feels more realistic to service the vehicles when they need it. However, I always wonder about the realism when I compare the service costs with the fuel costs. I honestly have no idea, but I imagine that real farmers need to add fuel more often than they turn a wrench.

Hey Daggerwin, Enjoying the realism aspect. I try to play certain games as realistically as possible. I am more of an RPG/Strategy gamer and when I play sports titles, I enjoy being more of the manager or head coach. I enjoy running the team instead of playing as the players on the field. There are ways to manipulate the systems to get a very unfair advantage, but I resist the temptation to do those things. I know it will ruin my experience in the long run.

I was thinking about peterson farm bro's "tractor stuck" while watching you struggle. They parodied "thunderstruck", but made it for farmers

An autosteer GPS mod would be good to add. It would be much easier for you when working in the field

A bright, full moon can overpower stars, especially when you're only looking at a small area around the moon. It's the same as photo's on the moon showing a black sky because the brightness from the sun and reflected light from the Earth is over-powering the stars.

Would the mod for extra spotlights on the machnery be counted as 'realistic'?? If it gets that dark where you are in game, surely that would be a consideration
