WORKING HARD IS PLEASING TO GOD--DO YOU HAVE GOD'S WORK ETHIC OR JUST A CULTURAL ONE?

God opposes the “sluggards” mentioned 9x in Proverbs as well as “laziness” mentioned 15x in Proverbs. Here is a sample of 5 of the 24 passages on sluggards and laziness from Proverbs.
1- Proverbs 6:6-11 Go to the ant, you sluggard! Consider her ways and be wise, 7 Which, having no captain, Overseer or ruler, 8 Provides her supplies in the summer, And gathers her food in the harvest. 9 How long will you slumber, O sluggard? When will you rise from your sleep? 10 A little sleep, a little slumber, A little folding of the hands to sleep- 11 So shall your poverty come on you like a prowler, And your need like an armed man.
2-Proverbs 10:5 He who gathers in summer is a wise son; He who sleeps in harvest is a son who causes shame.
3-Proverbs 15:19 The way of the lazy man is like a hedge of thorns,But the way of the upright is a highway.
4-Proverbs 22:13 The lazy man says, “There is a lion outside! I shall be slain in the streets!”
5-Proverbs 26:12-16 Do you see a man wise in his own eyes? There is more hope for a fool than for him. 13 The lazy man says, “There is a lion in the road! A fierce lion is in the streets!” 14 As a door turns on its hinges, So does the lazy man on his bed. 15 The lazy man buries his hand in the bowl; It wearies him to bring it back to his mouth. 16 The lazy man is wiser in his own eyes Than seven men who can answer sensibly.

I’m a corporate salesman, we had a saying when I was younger.... “this 10 to 2 is killing me!!”. This is a big issue for me actually and I was thinking about it as I was working on a project in the garage. I shut it down, came upstairs and saw this new video on my feed! What can I say but yes Lord.

I know that since I stopped fighting the Holy Spirit I work much longer. I've always worked hard, but after work I was done. Now I work before and after working my regular job, and I love it. So much that my side gig will soon become my full time job. My clock is set for 3:30 AM and 90 percent of the time I'm up long before that. I eat 1 meal a day and feel better than I ever have in my life.

You should be eating more than one meal a day . . . . Our joy should be in doing God's work. Serving Him in his eternal purposes. Your reward for doing regular work is the physical wealth it brings--but we need to do something to earn a reward in Heaven, too.

@@michaelreeves1147 Read what the Bible has to say about fasting, and then read what science is learning about it.Turns out it has enormous health benefits. I am on the ketogenic diet which means I run on fat. Dietary fat takes a long time to digest and when that is gone I burn body fat. Your body will not do this on a carb based diet and carbs digest quickly meaning they need to be replenished often. I don't get hunger pains and I have as much energy at the end of the day as at the beginning.

You know what also is twisted and messed up with today. Apparently at least where I work. They have changed the definition of work to where you are now expected NOT to work to be rewarded. Its messed up. I guess the bosses are lazy and expect the employees to be lazy so that it looks like they are a strong leader. I guess everybody is trying to push toward a rebellious way on everything today including things that will obviously hurt themselves. During the last 5 or so years, things have began to get really confusing at this point and I don't really trust anything anymore at this point. I will just follow exactly what the word of God says at this point. God can see my work, thoughts, strengths, weakness, intentions and everything. I am sure he will guide my work the way he wants it. Who else has been radically confused lately during this insane new society?

Burnout, can turnout to make you wise. The grace of doing personal evangelism, knowing that it can be like hand to hand combat. Going fishing is a little tough, but there's other stuff that has no value. The earning the right to speak. Means your required to fill up when you kinda leak so to speak. Overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of your testimony, and loved not their lives unto death.

Many of the things we call 'work'--most of the activities you do at your job--don't serve God in any spiritual sense. And you know at multiple points in Scripture we are taught that our reward for our physical work is physical goods. We need to be doing things that are worth something spiritual--not just material. Working for money before you know how you are going to use that money to further your ability to do good spiritual work is not the Biblical concept of good work ethic. Sweating alone is just a material state of being. Sweating because you're working toward something good, something holy, that's meaningful.

Hi. First thank you for sharing these teachings and videos. I'm noticing that you have said you guys recharge on Sundays. Does that mean you don't follow the instructions to keep the 4th commandment to keep His Sabbath? Just wondering. I'm trying to search out more teachers and I'm hoping you might be a good one. I'm going to look on your channel to see your stance and understanding regarding the old and new covenant... I.e. were about marriage, Not about His laws, the Torah. Those laws, the torah definitely call for us to keep the Sabbath Holy. For all generations. I'm also new to your channel so maybe you do keep it Holy. Basically, I'm hoping you understand the torah, that you understand Paul, because most teachers have him totally backwards. And that you understand the Commonwealth of Israel. I'll keep watching for now. You have a good speaking voice and a nice presence on video. It's hard to find sound doctrine teachers, sound teachers that don't put Paul higher than Yeshua! Anyways, I like your charts so far. Those really help.

Matthew 22:36-40 36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law? 37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. Jesus loved and did the work of the Father on many Sabbaths. (please continue to listen to this channel. It’s taught and inspired many Christians)

These are the proverbs of Solomon, if what you’re suggesting is that these are the words of God because Solomon was wise and was close to God, I understand. But saying that this is actually God speaking is in fact not true. Perhaps God blessed Solomon with wisdom which he passed on to us. But again, this is NOT literally God speaking, as you are claiming it is.
