JoAnn kicks azz! Eldad and EVERYone on the team, sooo much luv to you from the Pacific NW. I grew up in Orange Cty and lived in Glendale. Those freeways are arrrrggggh. I aspire to have JoAnn's "get in there and GET 'em" moves. ;D

Poor Ilene. She's in the best hands an injured cat could ask for, she'll be taken care of and I'm glad to see she's coming around to humans. I remember when I got a kitten for my mom (really the whole family), he was from a pet store rescue and was so terrified of humans, he would run and hide if he heard us coming and he spent the first three days in my room cowering under the dresser, only coming out to eat and use the litterbox when I was asleep or out of the room. That was five years ago. Now, his favorite spot to sleep is on my window sill or at the foot of my mom's bed, we can walk up to him and pet him and scratch his head anytime we like, and if we rub his side he will happily roll onto his back for tummy rubs. It's a rewarding feeling, remembering how scared he was when we got him and seeing how happy and loving he is now.

Joanne is a wizz with cats! Journee is such a lovely boy. The poor pitiful cries to start. Poor thing.

A lot of people ignore or overlook stray and injured cats. Thank you for saving them. Hope for paws never fails to bring tears to my eyes. I'm so grateful for what you do.

Oh my gosh, seeing three-legged Ilene, once so so injured and emaciated, now at the start of her new and happy “Journee,” busily “kneading biscuits” with her little front paws is just the best thing ever! I’m so glad they are meant to be adopted together. These videos always make me feel my recurring donation is some of the best money I’ve ever spent.

We need a Charity that Helps Seniors, Disabled, & Vets rehome their pets after death. Sadly the pets have no where to go after Death. A lot of them have NO family so their pet IS their family. Your saying make plans for your pet. I Agree.

JoAnn is such a wonderful person. Her rescues always look so easy and I love how calm and respectful she is.

On my strict budget I find it easy to make a small monthly contribution for these life saving efforts--Hope for Paws GOES TO THE NEED. Just think, if each of us gave just $5 or $10 a month the wheels could keep turning, the vets could keep treating, all the creatures could be brought to a healthy enough state to find new homes. Just one or two items in your weekly shopping cart once a month keeps compassion a reality and not just talk.

I am proud to be a monthly contributor to this team. Please if you can even a small donation helps. Together we can make a difference. These rescues need to continue. Please Save a Life!!! So wonderful to see these two well. Journee obviously once was loved as he was pretty docile when picked up. Ilene probably for the first time had human love. It is heartbreaking to see these injured animals and what they often live with for even years but still keep going. Thanks to the people who called for help and cared for these cats.

That was a horrendous leg injury on poor Ilene - probably one of the worst I'd seen. Same goes for that wound on the other cat. So happy they have been returned to health and hope they both get adopted together quickly. They deserve the most loving home.

Ilene must feel a million percent better now that leg is gone! And Journee, oh sweet boy! I cried when they said they would be adopted together. The most beautiful outcome ever 😁
