Thank you so much for releasing back catalogue videos. This particular subject is close to my heart. There may come a day when I will be a refugee, we never know what the future holds. I lived and worked in Dublin for almost 6 years, 2004-2009. At that time there was a huge movement of people from all over Europe and some African countries too. My job was working with homeless people in low threshold hostels, people with complex needs. Some of the hostel(s) residents were from wore torn countries, people who had witnessed and experienced such atrocity. My job was different from Judith's, but not very far removed from it. I loved all aspects of my job, Judith clearly loves her job too. I have retired back to Wales now, and learning Spanish with all the spare time I now have. Discipline is what I need though. Perhaps she could describe one or two specific refugees she has worked with, without giving names, of course. And does she ever work with families and children? If not, where do refugee families go?

This is super cool! I'm also in college in the US to hopefully become a social worker one day. Over here, you need a master's degree (an MSW) to practice as a social worker in many cases, but there are some people who manage to get a job with a bachelors. In the US, the vast majority of mental health therapists are licensed clinical social workers that have an MSW. They go through pretty rigorous training and supervision to practice since it is a legally protected title. There are psychologists with a doctorate, but these aren't as common since most people don't want to defend a dissertation to become a therapist. Can social workers from the US use their degree in Spain to work in mental health therapy? I know in Canada that is the case, but I'm not sure if that is allowed in Spain. I wasn't sure if this was work that Judit has done in the past. I'd be interested in picking her brain.

Fue gracioso quando escuche hablar en tarjeta sanitaria, porque la primera cosa que pensé, era una tarjeta para ir en el baño, para hacer las necesidades fisiologicas, porque en portugués del Brasil la palavra "sanitario" tambien es usado para eso, aunque también sea utilizada también para las cosas relacionadas con "saúde".

Pablo can you understand what the heck the KZreadr Elrubiusomg is saying? I noticed this because I can understand you and Auronplay pretty well. Is Catalonian Spanish superior in terms of clear pronunciation?

He's speaking Spanish, so yes, I understand him. 😂 He's speaking full speed Spanish the same way a couple of friends would talk to each other. He also uses plenty of slang and idioms. His speech is not particularly slurred, but surely he's not trying to pronounce everything clearly the same way I do. All together will make it harder to understand than the Dreaming Spanish videos. Auronplay seems to also enunciate everything very clearly. There's no such thing as Catalonian Spanish. Both Auronplay and I speak Spanish from Spain with standard pronunciation.
