550,000 divided by 400 vehicles means he earns on average 1375 per each wrap job. It also means they wrap almost 8 vehicles a week, so there’s likely quite a few staff members to pay a salary to out of that 550k, but definitely a strong business! Well done that man!

I doubt that’s gross. He probably does make $550k yr after all is said and done. I have a friend who owns a car detailing business and he makes around that. This guys working with major companies in New York. It’s not that wild to think he’d make that kind of money. The shop has to be making a few million a year.

It is actually cheap. In Romania which is much poorer, it is 2200€ for luxury cars and can go up for g-wagons and hard cars to wrap.

Ehhhh I don’t know man… he said he wraps 400+ cars a year those full wraps are around $4000-5000 average. That’s $1.6-2.0mm revenue. Say his net personal net profit is 20% of that… that’s $320-400k per year. That 20% is on the low end because the margins on wraps are very very high, around 45% gross.

Car wrap & tint shops, amazing how much cash they pull in once they get the right clientele from their over charging on what is one of the easiest thing to learn and is usually performed by the lowest paid / least experienced people in the shop. I’ve seen a $6k difference in quote price on one of my cars in the past. Only difference is the high one was in an upscale area of NJ.

We can fit over 3 vehicles comfortably in our garage and not to mention commercial vehicle wraps which range from 3-6 cars a day which are done either in house or offsite 🤙🏼
